The camper we own has a sealed underbelly so I think were safe. We dont keep the water hose connected just some water in the fresh water tank. no issues.Re: hot water pressure relief leaking antifreeze? Thanks all, Its a 6 gallon tank I used two gallons of antifreeze. its a small 17 footer so that should have been enough. its night now, so tomorrow morning I will go out and re-assess the damage! I really hope the tank didn't crack, really no way of testing until spring thaw happens.Re: hot water pressure relief leaking antifreeze? enblethen wrote: Bypass in off position should have no water or antifreeze in the water heater. You did drain the water heater during winterizing? I may have made an amateur mistake and put antifreeze in the HW tank. I know for sure that I did turn the bypass valves on though so the main lines shouldn't be leaking into the HW tank unless a valve has failed. I need to get inside and take a look at the situation.Re: hot water pressure relief leaking antifreeze? Re: hot water pressure relief leaking antifreeze?the bypass inside is off, this is on the outside of the camper?hot water pressure relief leaking antifreeze?I noticed my camper's hot water pressure relief valve is leaking antifreeze today? is that normal under freezing temperatures? I'm in upstate NY.Super Hott & Humid up in the North East! Its been super Hot and humid for the past several weeks up here in Central New York State, probably nothing to those who live down state, but man o man it hot! Anyways, my Hybrid is set up in the driveway and came home for lunch today and could hear my gas detector going off. I pulled the fuse to temporarily disable it. But has anyone heard of extreme heat setting these off? I don't think I have a propane leak, but I'll thoroughly check the rig out this weekend.Re: Tent end support bar storageHmmm... I like the square PVC pipe idea if I can fit it under the camper, been thinking of that for the flex sewer pipe anyways, could get two of them. I think I'd worry to much about tearing the canvas putting them in between the mattress. Unfortunately, the bar that holds the large bunk end is one entire piece, so I'll need to come up with a storage idea for that piece. The snap fitting idea is a good one but need to figure out where it'll fit securely.Tent end support bar storageHas anyone come up with a nifty way to store your tent end support bars when traveling or when not using the tent end?? We are just putting them on the floor of the camper but hate that they slide all over. Any ideas anyone can share?Re: post pictures of your HTTI actually did take offence at first, I was gonna post something bad a few days ago, but decided to keep my comments to myself. I think this rig is great, we went on our first camping trip this weekend, and it only re assured me how happy I am to own this camper! some people feel they need the latest and greatest camper, but if you have one that is functioning fine, why do you need anything more. This is paid for, and providing the fun we had hoped for. I can't ask for anything more! I'm sorry your 5 year old camper isn't holding up, but mine is doing great at 10+ years old. the previous owner took great care of it and I plan to do the same! Thanks again to all those who gave positive feedback! :)
