Thanks.Re: best ever fuel mileage 2009 6.4LThe Dodge/Ram 6.7L Cummins from 2007.5 through 2012 has the same emission control system. The BlueTec name was dropped in 2010 when Daimler and Chrysler split.Re: best ever fuel mileage 2009 6.4LFish says "no Bluetecs on the road today" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MQzLezT2IMRe: Has anyone looked at the Jeep Gladiator? The RZR length depends on the model. My 50" wide trail version is 102" long (8.5 feet). DonRe: These unreliable new diesel engines!2012 CTD with the "unloved" pre-DEF emissions system. Only one trip to the dealer for the steering column/airbag wiring recall. Next trip to the dealer will be for the column shifter equipped transmission-can-jump-out-of-park recall. 23,000 miles in just over five years. Obviously not a daily driver, but tows the 28' 10,000 GVWR 5th wheel very well. $0 other than maintenance. I love it. Re: Buying a RAM HD truck without 5th wheel prep?My experience with the Andersen hitch mirrors IdaD's. The one drawback though is needing to raise the fifth wheel hitch approximately an additional 2 1/2" compared to a traditional fifth wheel hitch. This is needed for the Andersen coupler, mounted to the fifth wheel hitch, to clear the Andersen ball. I'll take that any day verses not having to have to hear the noise my previous traditional hitch made. (but, maybe the B&W hitch is quiet with little slop, I have never owned one) This one is quiet. DonRe: Ram 3500 SRW daily driver?camp-n-family: why would you want to buy another Ram after your apparent dissatisfaction with your current Ram after four transmission rebuilds or replacements?Re: OBD 2 ReaderI bought the BAFX Products OBD II reader for $21.99 and the Diageng extension cable for $7.90, both from Amazon. I can highly recommend this reader due to the great BAFX customer support.Re: Ugh cracked dashGoogle 'dash cap'. It is an overlay that goes over your original dash.Re: Anderson Ultimate 3200 (Universal Rail Mount)When I tow my 5th wheel again, soon, I will not be using my Husky hitch. I will install the other hitch I own, the Andersen. Last fall, I hated the noise and the chucking of the Husky traditional hitch. I am willing to put up with the more difficult task of fore/aft alignment of the Andersen vs the racket of the Husky. Maybe the Husky is just a POS. I enjoy the noise-free towing of the Andersen more.
