Today's temps were much nicer so it was a good time to do this chore.Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???I changed bedroom lights (2 lights, one switch) to 2 lights and 2 switches. Better reading lights that can be aimed where you want the light. I added 2 pull handles on the screen door, added another towel bar to bath and build a table top container for napkins, salt and pepper, pencils and assorted have to have stuff.Re: Recomendations North Cal-Regon coast?Crescent City CA has a couple nice beaches area and several campgrounds in the area. We stayed at Redwoods RV Park north of Crescent City a couple weeks ago. Some road construction south of the city towards Prairie Creek State Park and the Redwoods National Forest.Cleaning bug residueWe just returned from a trip to California (from Charlotte). Ran into a lot of bugs along the way. We did stop at a truck wash about 1/2 way but that wasn't much help. After arriving home, Mother Nature poured on us and that helped some. This morning we washed our rig well and used dryer sheets on the worst of the bug residue. Worked very well and it appeared to leave no scratches. Has anyone else tried this?Re: Arches National ParkThanks for all of the responses. We went to the Park at 7 AM and had no problems. It was well worth the effort. They are doing some road construction but it had no impact on us. Thanks again,Arches National ParkQuestion..... Can we drive our 32' Class C through Arches National Park?Re: Camping near Elko NV early JulyWe are just passing through on the way to CA. Not having a toad eliminates some of the exploring we might have done. We might considering renting a car so we can go sightseeing.Camping near Elko NV early JulyWe will probably be camping near Elko Nevada in early July. We have a 32 foot Class C. No toad. Do y'all have any recommendations? ThanksCab curtainsWhile traveling in Arizona in our Class C we left the privacy curtain between the cab and the living space and discovered how much cooler the cab stayed. So my wife made some nice curtains and we installed them on a long shower curtain rod just behind the cab seats. I screwed the rod sockets into the wall. This keeps the cab cooler when driving and the living space cooler when camped. And it is a much prettier curtain than the privacy curtain. Several trips later it is still hanging just fine.
