It gets charged to your credit card accountRe: EZ Pass issuesYeah they automatically give me the 4h that it shows on the application. So, I guess I am getting billed right (which is a scam). That's with the white tag. I never changed the tag from my last truck either. I just edited the info on my account. Thanks thoughRe: EZ Pass issuesI'm confused. They never mentioned any plan to me. Their probably too busy trading my $Re: EZ Pass issuesI have the white one on my 1 Ton truck and just go through with that and my rv.Re: EZ Pass issuesNy does count the axles. On my statement there is a 2 or a 4 next to the exits. I also asked one of the reps and they said that also. I can take a pic and show u if you'd like mbopp wrote: Most of the NY EZ-Passes are on the windshield. A few years back there were car manufacturers that made an optional heated windshield. They had a gold tint to them and would block the EZ-Pass signal (like the storage bags.) Those drivers had to get bumper or licence plate transponders. Some states count the number of axles. NY does not. Hence I have two EZ-Pass transponders - a white one for solo and a blue one for towing the TT. Re: Traveling on the New York RoadsThat was a complete waste of time jplante4 wrote: Be like... Re: EZ Pass issuesNy sucks! I try to avoid the thruway. I have one mounted on my motorcycle windshield though so I never had a issue with weather. They charge some ridiculous amounts for hauling trailers. They go by axles. My 2 axle toy hauler costs $13 to go just a few miles between exits. My truck (7000 pounds approx.) costs the same as my 700 pound motorcycle to go through the same exits. Figure that one out!Re: My over 13' rv went under a 13' clearance bridgeGreat replies everybody. I appreciate it. I have seen the actual clearance signs. I guess the only solution is to just stop traffic since we have to be cautious of the close ones. Thats really safe!My over 13' rv went under a 13' clearance bridgeCan someone explain how they come up with the clearance signs. The last one I went through showed 13'0" on one of those yellow signs. Im in Ny and have a 38' rv. Now, I know for a fact to the top of my air conditioner is over 13'. Its more like 13 and 1/2. So on this particular road I know tractor trailers use it. So, i looked back and said there is no way Im backing up to an intersection. So i crept up VERY slowly holding up traffic and got out a couple times to check and I cleared it. How is this possible?Re: Looking for nice campsite/scenery in adirondacks forThats what I was thinking. Something around that area. Im not far from letchworth and have been there before and can go anytime. Thanks for the replies mbopp wrote: Never been there, but maybe Lake George RV Park?
