Pigeon Forge/Gatlinberg
We are heading from Michigan to St. Augustine for the winter the 1st of December. We would like to stop in the Pigeon Forge/Dollywood area for a few nights. Does anyone know what this area has to offer adults during the holidays. Not interested necessarily in theme parks, but would like to attend holiday shows/dinner theater type of entertaining. I am new to this forum. We have a 37' fifth wheel, have camped now only for 3 years. Would like to take a trip out to Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, and the final trip down to Denver before we head back to Michigan. We plan on taking 3-4 weeks in summer 2014. Would like to have ideas of a good route and other places of interest to see along this route. Would also like to know about available diesel gas stops along the way.
