ID onan generator
i have an ONAN Emeral gen. that doesn't run. The label is gone for the most part. I know it's 5K with points but not type or spec. Is there a way to ID it? I also have a 6.5 NHEFA spec G that has a bad armature (rotor)that I would like to use parts from.

That's what my research found to, but they used carbs, I think, on m/h until about 1990 or 1991. Mine's definitely 1990.

I'd like to know if exhaust ports on this carberated 460 has rectangle or oval ports. I saw a response posted by Hooligan 4/2013 that he had the same chassis, don't know if he's still on forum, hopefully he remembers. Thanks Bob C.

1990 Ford auto e-brakes
My, new to me, Gulf Stream has Fords auto E-Brake system. There is no way to set E-Brake unless I put trany in park, not a good plan at speed if motor dies and loose power brakes. also if engine stalls at very low speed and put in park to activate E-Brake, like in middle of road, E-Brake will not release unless motor will start.Had this happen with me.
