All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsAir bagsI have 2004 Newmar country star. The air bags are now 14 years old, I am starting to thing about replacing them. I have seen some on trucks blowing up after 5 years, they get a lot more use than motorhome. Is some of you guys had to replace some and after how many years of use. Thanks Crazy canukRe: Front Airbags not filling at idle??Firstly, your gauges read the wet tank and the dry tank, you have a wet tank and then a dry tank, most motorhomes have a supply tank too - which makes 3 tanks. The rear air bags will fill with the dry tank, the front air bags will fill from the dry tank or the supply tank. Most air bag systems will not inflate until you have at least 80 to 85 PSI. You might be in to much of a hurry to leave, always do a pre-trip/walk around and let it warm up for 5 minutes. Maintenance might need to done on your air stabilizer arms. If you need help with that let me know. Crazy Canuk. See you on the roadRe: michelin tiresSo went ahead and put the XZE2+ tires on. Just curious how much would they cost in the States? I paid $580 plus change for them. See you on the road Crazy Canukmichelin tiresI can't find any Michelin XZA2 around here, so my tire sale guy said that I would do fine with the XZE2+. My tires are 275/70/22.5 on a 34 foot Newmar. It is a regional tire but I thing they could do well on the rear of the RV. What do you thing about it? See you on the road crazy canuk
