They come in 3 models and apparently will fit on just about any pickup truck. Does anyone think this would work in a Honda Ridgeline truck. https://www.truckcampermagazine.com/news/tcm-exclusive-2016-travel-lite-rayzr/Re: 78’ Vintage Trillium Trailer - Model 1300Good point about the frame, wasn't sure about the cost. Thanks for the info.78’ Vintage Trillium Trailer - Model 1300This unit is for sale in our neck of the woods. Other than checking for leaks; and the frame it sits on theirs not much going on with this one. Buy a portable toilet and stove and your off? Anything different to check on a vintage camper when inspectin, the ad states "Amazing condition!!! " but that may be in the eyes of the owner. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-travel-trailer-camper/trenton-on/vintage-trillium-trailer/1343314712?enableSearchNavigationFlag=trueRe: 2010 Forest River R-Pod RP-172 donn0128 wrote: RPods are decent trailers for what they are. Like any used RV condition is paramount. Check closely for any signs of leaks, be prepared to walk away. Brand new RPod 172s go for around 17K US, so yea, thats way over priced, even by CDN dollars. Thanks for the info, will not bother looking at this one.Re: 2010 Forest River R-Pod RP-172They are likely trying to recoup their intial money, thanks for the info on price will be very aware of this going forward.2010 Forest River R-Pod RP-172Came across this camper in our town and was looking for tips to keep in mind when looking at it as to what to watch out for and what questions to ask the current owner. Newbie, haven't camped for years but think its better to buy used due to overall cost etc. Are certain years better than others. Thanks for any info. 2010 Forest River R-POD RP-172Re: Small Camper for 2 people rexlion wrote: There is a retired couple on another forum who towed a 16' Scamp tens of thosands of miles with a stick shift CR-V. They got a lot of grief from others about being 900 lbs over the tug's rating, but they just kept chugging along happily. They love Newfoundland too. Finally about 2 years ago they upgraded to an Odyssey. The CR-V does seem to be a tough little vehicle. You might keep an eye out for a used Taylor Coach, too. I have heard that they are well built. They have a 2 year wait for new ones! I checked for a Taylor Coach on kijiji and located 1 that was sold, wow is that small.Re: Small Camper for 2 peopleHere are the current rates for the NFLD ferry. We are selling our home this summer and moving into a 2 bedroom new rental apartment so we can do some travelling when we feel like it. Thankfully the home is paid for so that makes our money situation going forward just fine. Decided to do this a little earlier when we are still able to, no point until waiting to long :) http://www.marineatlantic.ca/en/plan-your-travel/ferry-rates/Port-aux-Basques-North-Sydney/
