Discount Tire. Stay away from Goodyear, I put 6 new good year tires on my class c and after one 1200mile trip 5 of the 6 tires had knots on the side walls about the size of my thumb. I tow honda cdv all the time. love it. I tow with Roadmaster with quick release hook up. and airfare one brake system. with quick release hitch I remove safety cables pull two pens lift hitch off of car disconnect elects for rear lights on town and disconnect air for brakes. takes less than 3 minutes If you go into canada with a towd you have to have brake system with breakaway system on towd. airfare one system has anti brakaway system built into it. to hook up you only have a quick connector on air for brake and a lanyard which activates breakaway brakes on towd. very simple to use. You will want protection on front of towd for gravel. there are many stretches of roads in canada and alaska with gravel on them. You will use about 1 gallon on your MPG. But it is worth it. I also Start engine and run through gears and let it ideal for 5 min. every 4 hours on road. I have not had any trouble with battery running down on Towd this way Follow instructions on Towing in Towd Manual very closely.407Views0likes0CommentsE-450 alignment!!!
I know the topic has been beat to death...!!! Several weeks ago someone posted a place in Houston that aligns rev's and did a good job on there E-450. I took the name of alignment folks down but I have lost same. I want to order 3er party bushings and try to get my coach to stop wondering around in the wind so much. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Driving from Houston to Amerillo a couple of weeks ago with wind gust to 30 made me believe I needed a little help. front end felt like it was on ice..!! Had a Propane gen set on my diesel pusher when I bought it. Changed it to Diesel as soon as I could. Propane was hard to find on road in small towns. Running Gen set all day when traveling had to fill 37 gallon tank every other day. and propane was expensive. used more than a gallon of propane per hour for a 6.5 kw. generator. I found diesel generator with Catapiller (perkins) 3 cylinder engine 8 kw and installed it myself replacing 6.5 kw get set. best swap out i ever did. Never had to find fuel again. Never had to wait for stations in small towns to find guy who was qualified to operate the Propane equipment to fill my Motorhome every other day again. My propane in motorhome would last for weeks just running Refrig. and heater in winter. Would never recommend another propane generator to any one again.....!!!!!!!!534Views0likes0Comments
