I understand what your saying,... my main question is if New Dometic AC units come with a connect box (circuit board) instaled in the unit or does one have to purchase it seperately???Re: Dometic roof top a/c unitjdc1, I was plugged in a 50amp.. Only had the one ac unit on ...Dometic roof top a/c unitGood day to all on RV.NET. I recently had a new A/C unit installed on our 5th wheel. We only used it 2-3 times. A couple of weeks ago we tried to use it however it would come on and blowing cold air for @ minutes to 5 minutes; problem is it would stop blowing air completely but the power would stay on.I rechecked the connections. I would turn off the unit at the termostat and wait a few minutes before trying to turn it on. You could hear it click inside the unit and wont turn on and you have to wait awhile longer before turning back on, but then same thing happen's. I called the shop that installed it and they said it could be one of two things that is wrong with it, !. I was told that it could be the Control Box (circuit) box in the AC unit or 2. It could be the thermostat... I asked doesnt the new AC unit come with a control box installed in it? They said no that they took the old one out of the old AC unit and installed it in the new unit... and that it is a seperate part... can some one enlightem me on this? thank you all in advance for the response/help. We got home and I parked the 5th wheel in our backyard. I made sure it was completely level. Left the fridge on propane for about two days. We had frozen goods in the freezer and water and soda in the fridge. Left it on since we were going to be using the rv soon again. After a couple of days, I switched from the propane to electric. Not sure exactly when but i think a couple days later I noticed the temp on the frige and it was not keeping cold in the freezer and fridge. I made sure again that the rv and fridge were level which they were. I the elec was fine. I switched over to propane to see if would cool down, tried it for several days on both elec and propane and no luck. I am not receiveing any codes, I also did dynostic code checks.... and all I get is the F and temp of 60. I have checked for ammonia leaks or any residue and nothing, not even any smell. Propane is full, elec is fine. Propane lights up. I do here a slightly loud whining motor sound shortly after turning on, cant remember if this is normal from the motor or not. We but the rv unit new one year ago. Any help or answers will be greatly appriciated. Thank you all for any info that you may provide me. Rudy PantojaBanks Smartlock Tranns BrakeI had the above subject item in stalled some years back by Gale Banks in San Dimas, Ca. Yesterday while looking under my truck I seen a wrapped wire hanging down that was not connected to anything, I traced the wires back to the Banks Smartlock Trans Brake module, located left side of the floor board on driver side. The wire has a round Female end connection with two pin holes. If anyone has this system installed in their truck and you inform me where this is suppose to connect to? I looked very well and cant where its suppose to connect to. I am not sure if Bans ever plugged it in at all. I appreciate any and all help.
