The Craftsman hand held compressor (from garyemunson) is what I plan to use this year. I have one last question: In one of the youtube videos (that focus on Class A motor coaches) the narrator recommended a portable 12v compresor unit (VIAIR) that includes filters to ensure no oil residue ends up in the fresh water line. My first instinct is to dismiss this idea as overkill. Please let me know if you disagree.Re: Blowing out water lines in Class AThank you all for your help! Much appreciated.Re: Blowing out water lines in Class AThanks for the input. If I go to an air compressor - isn't there a gizzmo to ensure I don't push too high pressure into the RV? Do most air compressor's have a feature to limit pressure?Re: Blowing out water lines in Class AI just answered part of my own question. I found the blowout plug that connects to a 12v or hand tire pump. I will gladly read other feedback.Blowing out water lines in Class AApologies if this was answered in previous posts. I suspect there is a very simple answer. This forum and YouTube have been very helpful yet I have one open question: I plan to winterize my RV using air. I plan to use our 12v car tire pumper upper. It connects to the stem on a car tire or bicycle tire. However, the "adapter" parts I see on Amazon all appear to connect to the male part of a pressure hose - not the type of stem that is on a car tire. 1. Does anyone have experience using the 12v car fire inflator to also be used to blow water our of RV lines? Is it effective? 2. I assume there is an adapter that will connect to my RV's fresh water intake and also to the female of the 12v unit (which is used to connect to a car tire)? Thanks for your help.RV Covers in the winterHello, I am looking for feedback to those who use an RV cover in the winter. Do you use one of the covers that drapes over the roof only, or do you use one that drapes down over the sides and tires? Was yours easy to put on and take off? I am not as strong or limber as I used to be. I live in Oregon's Wilamette Valley which is a moderate but wet climate. My main concern is protecting the roof. I understand the concern about the sun rays hitting the exterior. Our exterior is already a bit faded and I suspect additional exposure will hurt much more. We have a 2003 Fleetwood Bounder diesel pusher. Thanks in advance for your advice.Experience with replacing decals or repaintingHi All, my wife and I bought our first RV a few months ago. It is a perfect fit for us - with the exception of 1 thing. We have a Fleetwood Bounder diesel pusher. The decals are starting to wear. In addition we don't like one of the decals at all (the Kangaroo). I couldn't figure how how to post a picture. On my profile I have an image of the RV. We are interested in: 1. Replacing some or all decals 2. Repainting Does anyone have prior experience with this - and if so can you please share your feedback? Were you pleased with your project? Was it worth the expense? Thanks in advance.Question about leveling jacksHello, I am a new RV owner (37' Fleetwood Diesel). The RV is 15 years old and in excellent shape. The one question I have is about the leveling jacks. I begin to bring up the jacks by holding the "retract all jacks" for about 30 seconds. Afterward, on occasion, I will get a "jacks down" warning beep when I try to drive off. I can silence the beep by pressing the power button. When I inspect the jacks one of the rear ones is not all the way up - by about an inch. Can someone help me with a next step? I believe there is a special lubricant to put on them? Thanks in advance.Selecting a dehumidifierHi All, this is our first year of RVing (Class A DP). As part of our winter routine we selected a specific dehumidifier. We live in Oregon's Willamette Valley with fairly mild and very moist winters. I plan to setup inside the RV and vent down the sink drain with the grey water line open. We are storing the RV outside this year with no cover. I am interested in your feedback. Thanks in advance. Here is the unit's description in Amazon: Ivation IVADM45 Powerful Mid-Size Thermo-Electric Intelligent Dehumidifier w/Auto Humidistat - For Small Spaces of Up to 100 Square Feet Here is the Amazon URL: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KO0S0U8/ref=as_at?imprToken=Wfuq9RPLnKjklow8ZQ5Bow&slotNum=8&ie=UTF8&tag=goodairgeeks-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=w61&creativeASIN=B00KO0S0U8&linkId=9d696057f420889eacb9a3a05ed1a4b2Re: Amazon fire stick?I just installed the Firestick and am pleased with it. As other's have commented you need a very good wireless signal. Even a good signal may be insufficient. The RV parks we stay at have given us good advice as to whether it will work on not. Once logged in we can access channels using our DISH account. I am planning on getting the DISH tailgate package for when I am out of wireless range.
