As I stepped out of the room a lady next door did too. Dog runs over to greet her, I said, Joy, come here. Lady with eyes as big as saucers said is the dogs name Joy? I said yes and she said, "so is mine!!" That was several years ago and I still laugh, I hope she does too.Re: Can't overcome the fear of buying a Truck and TC.......I retired sooner than I had planned. Wife and I traveled a lot, I have great memories, she has dementia but enjoys me relating them to her. I'm thankful I quit when I did. Even though she's still home, I miss her. If you got the bucks, go while you can and don't look back.Re: Another GS roadside FAILUREI always like GS and had good service, just got tired of the constant escalating priceRe: SEMI camerasI messed that up somehowRe: SEMI cameras fill wrote: Last week I braved the wilds and drug my RAH camper through the hiways of Atlanta, a situation reminiscent of driving through St. Louis and worse than the Los Angeles system. I miss the good ole days LeeRe: Yosemite Ed_Gee wrote: I do not recall the Priest grade section of Highway 120 being too difficult.... yes curvy but no excessive grade in my opinion. Lived there for 20 years and drove it often. Then again, that was 20 years ago. Note: Not to be confused with Old Priest Grade road, which is likely impossible for an RV,! Agree with this. New Priest grade is a comfortable but curvy road, not to steep. I drove trucks hauling gasoline over it for 25 years and my pickup more than that. The steepest spot is just out of Big Oak Flat going west but it's short. Gear down here. You didn't say what you're driving/pulling but it's not a bad road, take it slow, you should be fine.Re: Good one for Kids: DO Dump Cake with a TwistI like it:B! Fun variation of the old mundane dump cakes. Make a lot of them (the old ones)for social events so gonna give this a try. Bought the ingredients last night. Thanks for posting. LeeRe: Autopay anyway!Interesting, I ask for someone to "reach out" and help and get no response from GS. Another poster after me complains and someone "reaches out" right away. Choice of words I guess. Anyway, I no longer need your help, after spending an eternity on hold I was able to talk with a live person who says they have reversed the charges. Next step, cancel GS account then the CC. By the way, I've been with you since 2004Autopay anyway!Sometime back, maybe a month, I talked with a GS RS agent and asked my account be taken off auto pay (no way to do that on website). I was assured it was removed. Unfortunately I trusted the agent (my mistake) and did not record time date and name. Today I see I have been billed for another year against my wishes. I have been on hold for about 1/2 hour waiting to talk with an agent to try and reverse this. Go figure, all agents are busy, how convenient. I had decided I no longer wanted or needed GS RS, hence the request to not auto renew. This is shady at best and unethical but from what I read here this is SOP anymore for GS. Honestly I have no problem with the service, I just don't need or want it anymore. I would appreciate it if someone from GS RS would "reach out" to me and fix this. Lee
