Thanks for the replies. I have camped in a lot of campgrounds with trees here on the east coast. Also If I get a portable dish capable of picking up satellite 118.7 I can get the LNBs that will also pick up the rest for not much more. Then I can just run the cable through a switch to a hopper 3 and get everything. That's what I think anyway. :)353Views0likes0CommentsBest way to get satellite 118.7
Howdy all. I have researched various ways to get access to Dish Satellite 118.7 (international channels). I currently have a Winegard In-motion satellite mounted on top of the coach. It really has trouble just getting the regular satellites due to many camp ground configurations and obstacles. It seems the best way to get both 118.7 and better reception of the other satellites is with a portable dish on a tripod that I can move around. My real question is how hard are they to pint and sink in? Are there any devices I can connect to help me?1.2KViews0likes7CommentsRe: RV site as a home base?

Hi all I'm in negotiations with NeXus on a new Phantom 35SC. I like what I have read and seen about this coach. I am replacing a Winnebago Tour DP. The immediate differences that I notice are like no surround sound and speakers in the overhead, power management system, and counter space. Why do the Encore Campgrounds not allow C2C members to make reservations on weekends? That limits where we C2C RVers that still work for a living can go. If they don't want to have us in their campgrounds on the weekends why should we want to go there on the week days? Good info. I do have a question about my system. It is the Winegard Batwing with the additional attachment. It supposedly receives its power from the black switch box which is always on (no on/off switch). I'm lucky to get two channels in town on the front TV. The rear TV and outside TV gets a message on screen saying signal TOO week. Is that the antenna or maybe the switch box not really getting and providing 12VDC?390Views0likes0Comments
