We are going to do 1-15 to 1-70 (Richfield) over to 24 out of Zion but will follow your suggestion when we leave Torrey. We are headed to Page, AZ so that works! We have never been to Capitol Reef so am just looking for best route to go there.Driving from Zion to Capitol ReefWe will be moving from Zion to Capitol Reef this week. We are towing a 35 ft 5er that is 13’5” high. I am looking at taking 15 to 70 to 24 but wonder if there is a better route. Don’t mind 2 lane but nothing with sharp edges ( so, no to Rte 12). Any suggestions for a good route appreciated.Alternate routes to 1-5 in OregonWe are traveling from Troutdale to Crescent, Oregon. Looking at Rte 26 to 97 through center(ish) of state. If you have been along this route recently, we appreciate your help!Re: crossing border with foodWe just returned to the states today after 6 weeks in Canada. There are currently no alerts so most food for personal use is okay. We were not asked about about food either going into Canada nor returning. They did not look in our rig. We did not carry fruit or eggs. We did not carry guns or liquor. This website contains the most current info: www.ezbordercrossing.com Have a great trip!Re: BC firesWe are in Alberta right now. Here is some info from the news - hope it helps. http://globalnews.ca/news/3585284/b-c-wildfires-map-2017-current-location-of-wildfires-around-the-province/Re: Crossing into BC, By Glacier on rt93- House plants OK?I would declare. If you follow the rules it makes the crossing easy.Re: Trans-Canada HighwayI guess the snide comments really bother me. The OP was simply asking for some help. If he is new to RVing, has never traveled to Canada, or never been in that area, he was just asking for comments. I wish people would respond more kindly or simply not respond if they don't have any constructive help.
