Checked around coach and then proceeded to campground nearby. The next morning upon start-up the light had disappeared. I was a little hesitant to get on the road to my destination, and proceeded with some caution. Didn't have any further concerns. Never have had that again. Good luck with yours.Re: InverterI had to replace my old Xantrex, but went with the 3000 PSW($1500)unit as I was also installing a household frig. I'm not sure I would recommend the 3000 over the 2000PSW($1250) units since I am only using 4 6volt batteries. The 3000 standby power requirement is almost an amp more than the 2000PSW units. I dry camp about half the time so I thought the 3000 PSW unit would be a better option. Has not worked out that I need that much power yet. I have to run the Ginny to recharge the batteries more than I would like. Solar at this time is not a good option for my purposes. Good luck with your choice.Re: 2002 Diplomat 12 Volt Circuit Board Removal/RepairReplaced the three Sockets(Accessory, Ignition and Headlights), took the unit for a test drive. The New Relays Installed in the new Sockets are really tight as compared to the original ones. Used a Infrared Temperature Sensor to test the heat rise several times during trip, and also had headlights on. The Temperature was just warm to the touch on all three Relays as compared to the old ones. So, maybe that was the problem. FWIW. Thanks for all your posts/help.Re: 275 HP Cummins diesel on a 31' coachDon't know about the 6.7, but the 5.9 Cummins had a problem with cracking of the Manifold due to heat. In the MH application, the 5.9 units couldn't get proper cooling and caused the Manifold to get hot, warp, crack. That particular setup had the engine torque at 660 ft-lbs. Don't know if the newer 6.7 may have some of the same problems. Hopefully, the manifolds are much improved. I suppose the higher weight Coaches made that engine have to work harder. FWIW.Re: 2002 Diplomat 12 Volt Circuit Board Removal/RepairJust saw your reply. Thanks for the suggestion. There are three Relays side by side on that Board. The Accessory and Ignition Relays were getting very hot and was/is shutting power off to the Ignition. I jumped the Ignition relay and was able to try and get home. But, it got dark and I had to turn on the Headlights. Then, that Relay started getting very hot, and finally shut the power off to the Ignition. So....I'm not sure where the problem originates. I am going to start by replacing the Ignition Switch, since that Relay originally was getting very hot, and replace the Headlight Switch since the Dash Lights are almost non-existent and that Relay got hot once I switched the headlights on. Beyond that...I'm open to suggestion.Re: Air Bag Helper Springs for MH ??There is a gentleman that is located just below you in Stockbridge, GA who has an older Model Diesel MH which only had springs and shocks. He added airbags to his MH and is well pleased with his investment. If you want his name etc, PM me. He might be able to give you some ideas as well as his thoughts on adding air bags. Take care.Re: 2002 Diplomat 12 Volt Circuit Board Removal/RepairOK. Pressure is off. Got the Board out....finally. On 2-5th try, wasn't so bad. Just label me a "whine-err."Re: residential refrigerator upgrade questionI installed a GE residential frig May of 17'. Of course it is ON all the time being installed in a MH(operated by an Inverter). Does the instructions say anything specifically about a/the frig being switched off and back on...or does it just state that it should not be operating when traveling due to the vibration?2002 Diplomat 12 Volt Circuit Board Removal/RepairAnyone tried to remove the large 12 Volt Circuit Board on the older Monaco units? The Board(15x10 inches) is mounted inside a plastic box, I suppose for protection from the elements, even though it is inside a compartment below the Drivers side window. In any event, I need to replace the melted Ignition Socket which is soldered into the Circuit Board. If you have removed this Board...how did you get it out of the plastic box with the long mounting/retaining bolts. Especially with the large wiring cable running through/across the box in front of the board. I see no connectors to take the wire apart? Anyone tackled this?Re: Time for new shocksTom, I purchased the Monroe Magnum RV shocks for my Diplomat. That is what Monaco/Roadmaster put on it from the factory. You probably need to look at the ones that came on yours, and if possible to get an idea of which ones you want to go with. Monroes will probably run about $60 ea. Bilstein and Koni will probably be about $100+ per ea. Mine sure rides better, I had to install 8 of them. If you are handy at all, shocks are not that bad to replace. I think yours only has 4 on it. Good luck.
