All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsSecond air conditioner on a 33' 5th wheelI, or more importantly my wife, would like to get a second air conditioner on our 5th wheel (2017 Durango 281RLT). The current one is a AirExcel Mach 15, with 15,000 BTUs. Two questions 1.What size would you recommend getting for the second air conditioner? It would go in the bedroom but we want it, not just for the bedroom, but the whole 5th wheel 2. What would you recommend for the make? The current one is an AirExcel but I don't see them on the internet, just Coleman. Are they the same? Thanks, GaryBackup/Observation CamerasI am getting ready to purchase an observation camera for the rear of my 5th wheel. Does anyone have any recommendations? I was looking at a Tabibrothers system. Does anyone have one and do they recommend it? Thanks, GaryRe: Extended WarrantyExtended warranties are always a 50/50 proposition. I don't buy them for things like electronics but I do buy them for items that cost a lot to fix, like cars and trucks. What I don't want to do is to add to the dealers profit when I can get the same thing cheaper. I do have roadside assistance through my insurance policy but I could remove it if I find a better deal. Thanks for all the responses! GaryExtended WarrantyI just purchased a new 5th Wheel. The dealer has a couple of additional products that they would like to sell us. The first is an extended warranty thru "the warranty group". Does anyone have experience with this warranty. Do you recommend another company? The second is Roadside Protect from Coach-Net. Any comments, good or bad? Thanks, GaryTarps that will hold up over timeWe have just purchased a new 5th wheel that has a rack on the back. We would like to bring our bikes with us and the rack is just the thing to do that. My question is does anyone have a recommendation on the best way to cover them. I've looked at tarps and bike covers but I'm concerned that whatever I buy can stand up to the wind. Also any suggestions on the best way to secure them to the rack. I can use rope or bungee cords but I'm wondering if there is a better way? Thanks, Gary
