Remove drainage valve?
How do I remove this fresh water drainage valve to install a new one. I do not understand how to remove the metal band holding it in place, as I do not see how to loosen it. My favorite is the negro mole. I have made it a couple of times and like most sauces, fresh is always better. The dealer stated the slide mechanism is a LCI from Venture. Does that make a difference? You mentioned you use wax, what type of wax and how do you apply? Things I might try: Do a "ProtectAll Slide-Out Rubber Seal Treatment" on the outside rubber seal. Do one of these Camco Slide Out Lube, WD-40 Specialist Dry Lube or ProtectAll Slide-Out Dry Lube Protectant underneath on the slide rod with teeth. Any recommendations for slide maintenance for our 2015 Keystone Summerland camper? After some research I have thought about using one of the following: Camco Slide Out Lube WD-40 Specialist Dry Lube Also maybe wiping down the inside out of slide with baby powder per this video. I most likely will be making a Paella next week while camping with the following: Sofrito Andouille Sausage Jumbo Shrimp Squid Chicken thighs Calasparra Rice Saffron Chicken Stock Peas Green Beans Red Pepper I might try preparing the sofrito ahead of time, prep cutting up the squid,chicken & andouille, and use frozen vegetables to save time. This is the first time trying squid, thus I might include it right after adding rice to tenderize by cooking/steaming longer. I will try to take some photos for future reference.
