Reolink Argus 2 cameras with solar can be found at B & H Photo starting at $80. I have used B & H for several Reolink cameras and they have always been very competitive on price. Go into your settings and look for "applications and notifications". There is a section there that most recent notifications. A 1987 on a G30 frame would have used R-12 (Freon-12) refrigerant. That has been banned in North America since 1996 and world wide since 2010. If a retrofit has not been done, it requires a system flush and a new filter/dryer or accumulator, and may also involve the installation of new seals and/or hoses made of materials compatible with the refrigerant being installed. If a retrofit was done, it probably used R-134a -- which is also being phased out. It can be purchased but there are many places that have purchase restrictions. There is probably more than a 'recharge' going to be needed. That year also most likely had a 16.5" tire standard. Most years there is no problem, but the typical weather for the area is highly variable. Just watch the conditions the week of your trip. It is extremely rare for an extended forecast to be useful to make that drive. This year has been much warmer and much dryer than normal. If the current pattern does not change, you are just as likely to get road closures due to fire and smoke as weather. The US Forest Service has already moved a 'Sky Crane' fire fighting helicopter into the Macon County NC airport in anticipation of a bad fire season. 2016 was the year that Gatlinburg came very close to being being totally lost, and this years fire conditions for the area are just as bad or worse in the area.289Views0likes0Comments
