I just read a review of a 2016 F-150 Limited 4X4 3.5 Ecoboost that listed just above $67,000. See if I can get this link set up correctly. 2016 F150 Limited review I bought a 2007 Silverado ltz for 30k and its twice the truck that they are now. Where is the other 30 k going?Re: new truck cost!!Just because it lists for a billion ? doesn't mean its worth thatRe: Refrigerator burner won't stay litTry checking the thermocouple first then backtrack to the gas valve.Re: UPDATE! need recomendation for 200 watt solar and batteries NinerBikes wrote: ToyHauler wrote: If it were me? I would have bought one 24v 250+ watt panel and a good MPPT controller.wired up some 10ga tray cable and reaped the MPPT love. But it wasn't you, it was Hemi Joel. 250w hardly makes MPPT useful over PWM. Well Mr Ninerbikes. Since I am feeling fashionably froggy tonight. I will explain in detail the problems I see in the OP installation. 1. The wire is exposed and not uv protected. Which will lead to failure in the insulation as it is not rated for uv exposure.( Fire hazard) 2.The residential plastic junction box is not uv rated and will degrade exposed to the sun. Not withstanding a physical inspection ? That is all I can come up with at the momentRe: Solar help... Mppt or PWMJust put the panels on the roof and plan for more. Get what you can afford and or are willing to pay for electrical freedom and go camping. You don't need to go the senior electrical engineering degree about any of this? Its all been covered ad nauseam? its done already. Drill the holes in the roof and fish the wires down to the new location and Di-core them up.Re: What's the fridge flame supposed to look like ?Get a wire brush and use one of the wires and clean the jet. or replace the assembly. If that doesn't help go down the line to the regulator.Re: 20 lbs ice cubes 24 hours $75 Delivered? G'wan!I bought one of these http://www.walmart.com/ip/Magic-Chef-Portable-Ice-Maker-MCIM22TW/13308699 And then I got a deal from a friend for $35 for the same unit. I can crank them both up and realistically get 8 pounds when the bins are full. It drops ice every 9 minutes. Thats enough to fill coolers when needed.Re: UPDATE! need recomendation for 200 watt solar and batteriesSorry for the confusion. :) My mistake.Re: UPDATE! need recomendation for 200 watt solar and batteries pianotuna wrote: Hi, It would cost me a new inverter to move to 24 or 48 volts. As it happens, the Magnum PT100 IS an MPPT unit, but that is not why I chose it. I chose it because it can handle 100 amps. It costs about $800. usd. ToyHauler wrote: 24 volts is more efficient than 12 volt and mppt gives an advantage over pwm significantly over lower voltages all the way. Its a win win no matter what your preference. So I would argue over your lower voltage preference Your being cheap The benefits you get from higher voltage and the benifits from the amperage you get from the controllers. negates the cost. IE your being a cheap ass at a deficiency. I have the very same inverter as you and I run 24v panels. I see higher charge amps using the 24v than I ever did with 12 volt with as many watts per panel bank. Almost double in fact.
