Yes the Wisconsin DNR who hire my wife as the resident manager do require all campers to use the oversized pit toilets for gray and black. There are 4 woman's toilets units and 4 men's toilet units. Total of 24 toilets and 8 urinals to be cleaned 3 times a week. It is a for a trophy fishing lake in a very remote location. Nearest dump station and fresh water is 23 miles south. Once our travel trailer is set we don't move it. I will investigate the bladder and 12 volt transfer pump idea. These pit toilets are from the 1970's and have raised porcelain risers. So dumping pails worth of waste 150 yards away is quite a haul not to mention a heavy lift. I will also have to learn about this macerator described above. The wife talked me into buying a 2015 Rockwood Windjammer 3008W. So now I have to sell my Jayco Jayflight 22FB 2010, and tow vehicle 2002 Ford Sport Trac 4 x 4 crew cab.Suggestions for a work camper in a rustic campgroundI need some suggestions on how to supply my trailer as a resident manager in a rustic campground with hand pumps as fresh water source and pit toilets. All campers are expected to dump gray and black into the pit toilets. There is no outside opening for a honey wagon. Any suggestions on how to make the season less tiresome refilling fresh water tank and emptying the gray and black would be appreciated.
