It was only the two of us so we did not use all of the amenities but still had a great time. Close to Old Orchard Beach (free trolley if I remember correctly) and very nice pools and grounds.Re: We last did this in June of 2017 Let's do it again! pigfarmer wrote: Kzoocamper...no arguments or fights!! No interest in the eastern US in any way. Cost of living too low for you over here? :hRe: Motorhome to 5th wheelWe have recently gone the other direction and moved from a long line of fifth wheels and trailers to a class "A". Unless you are looking at a 40" plus motor home you are more than likely going to find the fifth wheel a better option for long term stays. In our case however we will be doing more short term traveling (a month at the longest) and believe the ease of use, and enhanced ability to travel with our dogs along with not being saddled with the cumbersome gas consuming tow vehicle make a motor home a better choice. I am sure there are times we will miss the fifth wheel though.Re: Trip to Northeast statesWith all of the ice cream lovers that I am sure are on here I can't believe no mentioned stopping by Ben & Jerry's in Vermont for a factory tour on the way to all of these great destinations. The walnuts are never fresher in the Chunky Monkey than at the factory!!Re: For those who live in the southThe last time we stayed there I do not recall there being a fence or any visible form of gator control in the pond however we did not see any gators in the dog park pond or area. The dog park and pond were highly used with many locals bringing their dogs in for a run and swim with what seemed like no concerns.Re: We last did this in June of 2017 Let's do it again!Rocky Mountains.Re: Your RigThanks ReneeG we are pretty happy with it so far.Re: Waxing Tizi wrote: I use this wax with a random orbital buffer: Before: see line after upper window: After: Looks fantastic.
