Doesn't the Dodge have the highest tow ratings of the 3 duallys? Don Z.Re: Cabinet doors "Pulling apart" - how to repair? The frame is a rail and stile type construction. A dowel won't work as the tongue on the rail isn't long enough (as in a tenon). It appears to me that the glue joint was starved for glue when it was originally put together. Remove the door or drawer, squeeze some Titebond II wood glue in there and clamp it overnight. Wipe off any glue that squeezes out with a wet paper towel. The glue shouldn't stick to the finished surface. Don Z.Re: Call the weight police, can't believe what I'm looking at! Don Z.Re: Towing capacityI have a 2000 F350 dually crewcab 4x4 with 4.10 gears and the automatic 4 speed transmission. My truck full of fuel, with the hitch in the bed and me behind the wheel tips the scale at 8185 pounds. The GVWR for the truck is 11,200 pounds, CGVWR is 20,000 pounds. If your truck is a regular cab or extended cab, the weight of your truck will be a little lower than my truck's weight. With just me in the truck, I can handle up to 3,015 pounds of pin weight and a max trailer weight of 11,815 before I am at the the specified limits of the truck. I hope this helps. Don Z.Re: Finding 19.5" wheelsI found these by using "19.5" wheels" in a Google search...forged, several different styles of wheels in that size. I see you did not show Load Range in your post. Read again...I stated E Load Range in my post. The tires were definitely E Load Range. Their web site even states E Load in the specs. Solitude Specifications Don Z.Am I calculating this correctly?Over the weekend, I went to a local RV show and walked through 3 floor plans from Grand Design RV, makers of Solitude 5th wheels. I noticed they were equipped with LT235/85R16 tires. They didn't have any brochures about their units so I went online after returning home. The 2 larger trailers (both listed as 38'11") are equipped with 7K axles. GVWR for these trailers is 16K, hitch weight is listed at 2600 pounds. Gross weight 16K - hitch weight 2600 leaves 13,400 for the tires to support, but E load range tires would max out at 12,168. So...is this unit set up for tire failure right off of the assembly line?
