All highway towing. No boondocking. Changing out the axle, if that is what it comes too, isn't a problem. I as just wondering how common this type axle failure may be. First hand experience type stuff.Re: Lippert axle issueTruck, trailer, and everything else has been weighted and all well within limits. It's an axle failure issue. No doubt. ThanksLippert axle issueDuring a camping trip last week I noticed that the rear axle tires on our TT were toed out. Upon closer inspection I saw that the tires were very worn on the inside edge. Then I saw the axle was arced downward instead of upward. The front axle is fine. We bought the camper new in 2010. Has anyone ever come across this type problem before? We never had a problem until now. Is a new axle the only remedy at this time? Thanks, DaveRe: New F350 and first tripSlick Rick, Not to hi-Jack this thread, but how much trouble placing the drivers side bolt did you have installing that Hellwig sway bar?Re: Not getting power from new RV battery :(We experienced a very similar problem a few weeks back during a camping trip. I had just installed a new battery prior to leaving. Turned out the two 40 amp converter "reverse polarity" fuses blew when I made a dumb mistake (only for an instant) when hooking the new battery up. Good luck. Double check those two converter 40A fuses.TT, Equalizer, Air bagsI just installed Firestone Ride-Rite air bags on my truck. The load/weight in the bed varied so much from camping trip to camping trip that it was difficult for the equalizer hitch to maintain level in all circumstances. Hence the need for the air bags. So on to my question for those of you running air bags and pulling a TT with an equalizer hitch; When hitching up, you have to use the tongue jack to raise the truck and the camper together (once hitched) to allow the bars to be swing onto the platforms on the trailer hitch. So, do you inflate the bags first (beyond the 5 psi min required) to raise the set-up to allow the bars to be swung onto the platforms or still use the tongue jack to set the bars and then inflate the bags as necessary to level the set-up as needed? Will raising the truck with the tongue jack damage the air bags? Thanks for the help, Dave
