This summer I use it almost daily. Only negative, I wish it had an extension to reach higher on the cap ends. If needed, use the rinse-less wash, then keep up on the cleaning with the duster.Re: CA Hwy. 36 Red Bluff to SusanvilleI prefer highway 36 to highway 42. Usually, less traffic, more vistas. There can be lots of deer to watch out for. I stay in the Red Bluff RV Park, and start out early on highway 36. I tow a 31' trailer. The curves on the highway are okay, not too tight. With a 24' Class C, check out the Forest Service camps along the route. If you have time, drive around Lake Almanor, and look for views of Mount Lassen. There are several roadside rest areas open during the season.Re: Fantastic Fan/Vent diode?I contacted the company when the RV fan quit this fall. Our communications were through email. I sent pictures. Excellent service. I would highly recommend the company. I received parts, based on pictures that I had sent. Included was a new lid, even though the old one was fine, though 14 years old.Re: Trinidad CA RV park choiceSounds of the Sea - Like access from road, versus Emerald Forest. Paved road in front of office is on a slope. I pull up to a flat area to park and visit the office. Sites near office have no highway noise. Open sites with no trees overhead. Redwoods loose a lot of needles. No sap because of no trees. Sun or light because of no trees, feels warmer than dark shade, and no fog drip from trees. You can tell I prefer no tree sites in the Pacific Northwest! Close to Patrick's Point State Park, with plenty of walking and exploring opportunities. The only disadvantage to Sounds of the Sea is the washing machine. If you open the lid when machine is in cycle, you will notice the water level is less than half full in a full load. That's how the machine is an energy saver. Not enough water to wash clothes with. Sites are not private, though that is true with the other RV parks in Trinidad also. It's a beautiful drive to Trinidad on the back road. Highway 101 is the fastest way to drive to Trinidad. Highway 101 is 4 lane through this area. Visit the marine lab in Trinidad. https://www.humboldt.edu/marinelab/visitor_info.htmlRe: Electric Heater Recommendation Neededhttp://www.walmart.com/ip/Sunpentown-Mini-Tower-Ceramic-Heater/5799329 I bought this heater in 2007. It is the only fan heater that hasn't quit working. This heater has a low 600w setting, making it a great heater for a second source of heat in a 30 AMP RV. It has a very quiet fan. I use this in the back of the RV, and a small oil filled heater in the front. I park host, and like to use electric heaters, since propane is usually not furnished in the parks. I have four electric heaters, so that I can switch and not leave one on constantly, 24 hours. Two for use at night, and two different ones for the day. Another heater is the Broan ceramic air heater, a small cube heater that also doesn't take up space.Trailer accidentA trailer was in an accident outside of Klamath Falls, Oregon. http://www.kval.com/news/local/Trailer-destroyed-4-hurt-in-crash-225052242.html
