I had my couch and dining chairs reupholstered this year the couch was flexseal don't know about the chairs. The biggist problem I had was the automotive shop said to take it to a home furniture shop and the home shop said take it to a automotive shop, found one in Kansas City Kansas that did both. I took it apart and they reupholstered the separate parts and I reassembled it inside the MH. the biggest problem I had trying to use residential furniture was my space was limited and most had big puffy arm rests. 230 degrees is on the high side but not necessarily engine damaging if there is engine damage it will usually be 1. scored piston and cylinder liners this will cause engine knock and increased blowby out of the breather tube 2. cracked cylinder head and possibly blown head gasket this would cause coolant loss from the overflow tube on the radiator under normal driving and engine temps and possible coolant in the oil. regardless of the outcome the radiator should be cleaned as dirt,leaves and grass clippings go through the charge air cooler and plug the face of the coolant radiator. last year I replaced my propane frig with a magic chef 10.1 cubic foot purchased at home depot. it measures 23.6 wide 59.4 high and 26 deep. i had to remove the levelers and the rollers and bend the roller tabs flat, that lowered the height a little I had to cut about 3 inches from the opening to make the opening tall enough. also on the back side near the compressor there was a bulb with small copper tube that I secured to a cross brace on the frig with a dab of silicone to keep road vibration from breaking the tube. according to the data tag it pulls 1.5 amps. in Arizona until mid April it froze ice cream hard and you can't ask for more than that523Views0likes0CommentsRe: ABS light.
you will most likely have either a bendix or a wabco system. the wabco system needs a code reader the bendix has a series of lights on the module that are labeled (example right front sensor would have sen. R and f lit) sensors are located on the back side of the brake backing plate there will be a wire going to it checke for broken wires they can be checked with a digital multi meter by unpluging and checking the resistance sometimes get pushed back from the tone wheel simple to adjust tap the sensor in with a hammer but dont hit it too hard if it doesn't move it is probably stuck and may need replaced. when the coach is moved the sensor will move to the proper clearance it may sound a little strange but bendix codes are cleared by running a magnet across the light panel the module is usualY under the coach above the rear axle nice to get at wabco wheel sensor codes will clear when the module sees 5 to 10 MPH718Views0likes0CommentsRe: Cummins ISB 5.9 Cranks but no fire-ECM power.
there aretwo power sources to the ecm one is from the ignition switch and the other is unswiched ( hot all the time ) usually connected directly to the starting batterys this wire will have a inline fuse ussually in the battery box make sure it's not blown. if you had the cables disconnected did ths wire get reconnected a quick check to verify the ecm is powering up on initial key on the check engine and stop engine light should cycle on and off if they don't either the swiched or unswiched power is missing hope this helps189Views0likes0CommentsRe: New Chassis Battery time Cat C7
all group31 batterys have have threaded studs. truck dealers will carry the house brand from the manufacturer that they represent usually at a reasonable price. I have had Alliance (freightliner/western star) brand in my mh for 5 years with no problems.452Views0likes0Comments
