Most RV manufacturers do not use those and weld directly to the frame rails in place of the rubber bumpers. I worked for a manufacturer for many years and those rubber bushing would be laying around the chassis weld shop where they were suppose to be put in the trash. I am sure it just got dropped down in the frame rail by the tank and has rattled there until you found it.Re: difference in forest river 5th wheels?Forest River has bought a lot of different companies, some small and some large and that is why there are so many different names. For the most part, after FR buys a company, they replace parts of the upper management then lets the product be build as it was designed by the original company. FR does add additional layer of QC in most cases. FR wants a product to continue to be built and sold so they make the profits. IMO the product stays about the same as it was before FR bought it---good and bad.Re: I80 route to Middlebury areaI-80 in Indiana is a toll road and as I remember is really busy and congested near the Ill state line. I would travel on US-24 to US-31 to US-20 and take US-20 all the way to Middlebury on Ind SR-13.Re: No RVIA sticker on 2012 Nexus 24PThe RVIA sticker is placed on a unit to show that the manufacturer of that unit built that unit to a set of standards put in place by the RVIA, using ANSI and NEC codes for the safety of the end user. The RVIA has inspectors that tour a production plant several times a year, unannounced, to check things on the production line. If a production plant has too many non-compliances, the right to put stickers on can be removed.Re: '07 Southwind BR TV Removal?Just a guess on my part, but I would think there is a screw or 2 from the bottom. Try loosening the panel on the bottom of the cabinet to locate the screw heads.Re: Need Your Screw Method Advice - 1968 Travel Queen Resto ModI think the pocket screws (#2) would be the strongest and even more so if you add the metal strips with staples as it was original build. JMHO. I have really enjoyed your posts, Thanks for sharing.Re: levelingIt appears that "scotch blocks" is a term used in tow trucks and railroads-it serves the same as a chock in aircraft. ( and RV's)Re: 2014 Evergreen Amped 28FSThe hitch weight is right at 15% according to the unit spec's in the lit. Does it pull any better without the rzr 800 in the back? I would suggest getting it weighed to see if it really is as the spec's say it should be. Good Luck.
