Inside step failure in Keystone Avalanche
This past weekend the second step on the inside steps that lead into the bedroom failed and dropped downward into basement. The step is still attached but a gap is present showing the only thing holding it was cheap staples. Has anyone had this to happen in their fifth wheel and do you have a suggested remedy.I removed the the wood grate in front of the steps and found no brace support under the step. one would think that a manufacturer the size of Keystone would have better QC than this!2.5KViews0likes14CommentsRe: A wild idea......
And the Ponderer and Thinker replies... Sounds very enticing and will be considered. I never do anything without having my ducks in a row, especially something of this magnitude. Certainly have concerns regarding how well the Avalanche will hold up in this mode of use. Here the deal.. I got one of these Chinese knock offs for christmas 2 years ago. I did not get to use it for a year due to health issues. So when I decided to try it I put a good synthetic oil in it and gas and it started on a the first pull. Bottom line is for the money you can not go wrong323Views0likes0Comments
