Also looking at the Draw-Tite, an the husky. Also is there that much difference between the 15k an the 16K except for the price? Not interested in the B&W it's more than I want to pay, I know they are a good product but out of my price range. Your input would be very helpful. they say a dump question is one that is not ask, So I am saying I don't know about this hitch thing, that is why I am asking. Thanks for your input.Electric brake magnetIs there any way to test to see if the magnets are good. I am in the process of replacing my grease seals, an now would be a good time to find out about these magnets. Thanks for your input.Leak in outside back cornor of slideoutI have a 2005 sandpiper fifth wheel that has a leak on the back corner of the slide out, it has affected about a foot of the outside panel of the outside of the slide from top to bottom. On top of the slide it looks like what I would call some sort of tape that has the top skin and the camper sealed it as got a leak in that tape. It looks like that hole tape needs to be replaced. I need some good advice here on what would be my best fix, this has not been leaking long, the wood is still good in the wall. I am not going to get rid of the camper, an will be doing the work myself. Thanks in advance.Re: Best TV antennadon't know what I have now, an a batwing I don't know what it looks like.Best TV antennaI have a 2008 sandpiper fw that you have to raise and lower the antenna from inside, and I also have a antenna boost on it, but the places we camp most of the time, we sometimes don't get regular TV reception. Is there a type or model of antenna that would do a better job for us than a factory antenna that comes with the camper? We don't want anything like Dish, direct TV. Don't wont to set it up or pay there fees.Which is a better choice?Between helper springs and air bags, which one is a better choice for ride and lift support?looking for a place to buy new decals.I have a 2004 Sandpipper by Forest River that I would like to buy new decals for. Does anyone know where I could buy these at? The ones I have on the trailer is curling up around the edges. I am thinking about pealing them all off and not have any at all. But would replace if new ones are'nt to high. What do you think replace, or strip off and leave plain?slide seals ?I have a 2004 27RLSS sandpiper. My question is when I pull the slide in the side rubber seals on the trailer fold in toward the inside. Is this normal, and will it hurt anything by them folding back. If this matters what can I do to stop this from happening. This is my first camper I have ever owned with a slide, Just don't want to mess things up by doing something stupid. Like Forest Gump said "Stupid is as Stupid does." I would like to stay away from stupid the best I can, but at times it seems like stupid just jumps on me. Any one ever had that to happen to ya.Awning questionI pulled my camper from the shed to my shop to do some work on the camper,an as the camper was out, it got rained on. Here is my question, do I need to unfurl the awning to let it dry, or what do I need to do. I want to maintain my rig the best I can, nowdays there isn't nothing cheap to replace on these rigs. As you can tell I am new at these campers. That is why I am glad I found this web site.
