Chinookman sums him up pretty good.Re: MORE...Leveling Travel Trailer with air bagsI made a set of drive on airbags. Just drive on em, inflate to level side to side. Work really well. No bounce to em. And at most they have maybe 10-15psi I know this isnt really what you're looking to do though. Scissor jack replacementSo unfortunately, I have a bent scissor jack on my 15 Springdale 270LE. I believe they're 2500lb rated. Question is, can I toss a 5000+ rated jack on there without issue or do I need to match it?Re: ReCurve R3/R6 roguegaston wrote: Do you have to turn the truck, to take the pressure off of the sway control, before engaging it with the wrench? Thanks No but it's easier.Re: ReCurve R3/R6 deltabravo wrote: Looks like the bars will jam themselves in to the A-frame / Coupler on turns, limiting how tight you can turn. not so. on a slower turn the anti sway disengages and you turn normal. Unless Im not understanding what you're saying? I've had zero issues with tight turns. Its just as good if not better then my old Reese WD with anti-swayRe: ReCurve R3/R6sorry I meant, old trailer had old style hitch. New trailer has the Recurve. So i can't say new trailer would tow with old style. Still the trailer from GM Trucks :)Re: ReCurve R3/R6handles it well. You can unlock the anti sway so it lets it turn easier. Ive noticed no bracket walk.Re: ReCurve R3/R6Well I did get a power jack :p havent towed all winter, but overall I really like it. I wish I could compare it to another hitch, but I went to a larger trailer.Re: Route 7 Antigonish to Halfax Nova Scotia (Marine Drive) Tobyjug wrote: Thanks, I think I will give it a try it looks like a beatiful drive. I spoke to the owners of the SpryBay Campground and they felt it was an OK drive for a 40ft'r., they have had several in so far this month. David b wondering how you made out?Re: Regular or RV toilet paper?I was told a little trick, you take a few squares of TP, put them in a ziplock container with water and give it a shake. If it breaks up easy, its a good tp to use. That said, unless you plan to drive with stuff in your black tank, don't really see why this would matter. We use the same stuff we use at home, Costco brand. It also passed the test, not that i think it matters
