This is a problem on all E-150 thru E-450, the Ford dealer wanted $1500. to $2000.00 to fix my 04 E-450, So I check out some You tube videos and went to NAPA pick up some good rubber vacuum tubing and vacuum control valve for the AC, took me 45 minutes to do the repair. No I did not remove the right inner and outer fender, all of the dash like Ford would, only the grove box and dash cover under it. Here a squeaking noise I had in my class C at 17000 miles that made me crazy till I found it, where they cut the roof of the cab out, (the haft round) they riveted the medal to the wood (not good) the rivets came loose and the medal would rub on the wood going down the road. I pulled out the head liner and installed about 30 self-tapping lath screws #8 1/2" Problem solved 60,000 miles later still good.693Views0likes0Comments
