If this doesn't work out as well as I hoped I have a Yagi directional antenna I will try but the 11" antenna with the inside booster is working well and it requires no setup as the antenna stay outside and hooked up all the time. The park we were in had quite a few wifi antenna stations around the park and I could pick up on them all with the worst at 3 bars so it is a huge improvement over what I used to get.Wifi enhancementBeen looking all over searching for the best route for wifi enhancement. I have right now an Alfa wifi booster inside with an 11" 9DBI wifi booster antenna outside. This weekend was our first trip with this setup and I had really good wifi reception but it just may have been the park. I will say it was the best reception I ever had in an RV park with 100% reception which made working nice, I was able to stay in touch and managed to get some work done, I know its vacation and i should throw my lap top away but the job does pay for the fun! I would like to hear from anyone who has a good booster setup and where to get it from. Thanks in advance!Re: Planning trip through NM and AZ any cool points of interest?Thank you everyone for all the awesome input. You all have given a lot of good advice on really cool places to see and we are looking forward to seeing quite a few of them. I just finished booking all of our reservations today and it looks like we have extended stops in Apache Junction, AZ at Meridian RV Resort, Distant drums resort in Camp Verde, AZ and American RV park in Albuquerque,NM along with several small stops along the way from San Antonio and back. Lots of good ideas shared and we are looking forward to where the wind blows us on our daily excursions away from base camp. Again, thank you all for the input and to anyone else that may have some place interesting to share that would be fun to see.Planning trip through NM and AZ any cool points of interest?Wife and I are planning a trip from the San Antonio area through New Mexico and Arizona. Our main stopping points are Phoenix, Sedona and Albuquerque with 4 nights n each of these areas before moving on. We plan on hitting the Grand Canyon and visiting friends in Phoenix but pretty much open to where the wind blows us in between. Anyone have suggestions on must see stuff in any of these areas? We just kind of plan on leaving our base camp each day and driving a different direction to see what we find with no real plans but exploring and stopping where the mood strikes.Re: Time for a new one opinions on our choiceThank you, We started moving stuff back in yesterday. We were thinking there was less cabinet space than our old trailer but We were wrong. I guess it just looked that way because of the extra length in this new one because most everything is back in and we have tons of space left.Re: Time for a new one opinions on our choiceWell she came home today, We bought the 33 RLDS we were looking at. Wife and I are really happy with the deal we got and both of us are looking forward to some road time. Now to get everything moved back in and organized. Had some friends come over tonight that are looking for a new TT, they couldn't stop talking about how nice it was and how they loved the floor plan. We mentioned they had one more just like it on the lot. Hmmmm.... Time to start asking for a commission! Re: Time for a new one opinions on our choiceThanks for the replies, Good to know they make a quality product. The floor plan on this one is about as perfect as it could be for our taste!Time for a new one opinions on our choiceGoing tomorrow to close the deal on a new Travel trailer. We have picked out a 2015 Jayco Jay flight 33RLDS. This trailer is about 5 feet longer than our current travel trailer and it has everything we want in a travel trailer, we are going with the aluminum skin since it is what we are used to. What we like best is the room in the living area. This is our first Jayco and we were wondering what everyone has to say about them good or bad.Re: Furnace question - Won't stay lit timc1207 wrote: donn0128 wrote: When did you turn the gas on before the trip? Did you purge the air out of the gas lines before you tried starting the furnace? Yes purged and was working for the last 4 nights with no issues after the initial hiccup. I'm thinking the flame sensor. Been doing a lot of web surfing on this and it seems to be a common problem. I had this furnace worked on last year and it cost as much as a new replacement. I think this time I will just put in a new one and be done with it. I pulled the unit out and checked all the wiring; looses connections seems to be the most common cause. Re-installed the unit and now it is working again but I have zero trust in it.Re: Furnace question - Won't stay lit donn0128 wrote: When did you turn the gas on before the trip?
