It has 104,xx miles on it. She said they had a front blow out on their last trip so they replaced both fronts. Waiting on her to send pics now. Hopefully I like what I see and I'll drive to look at it tonight. Thanks for the reply Sloop Smitten!!Looking at '94 Jamboree tonight, need some opinions please.Looking at a '94 Ford jamboree tonight. 27' long. It has 104,000 miles. No leaks, everything works. Front tires are brand new, rears are 4 years old. Asking price is $7,250. It's about an hour away from me so I don't want to make the drive unless I really think there is a good chance of me buying it. It has the queen in the rear which is what I have been looking for. Also, it has the newer ford front end, compared the older one in the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. I was hoping for around $6,000. Thanks, BrentRe: A would you buy, what do you think thread.I do have the skills and tools, but not really the motivation. I'm a trim carpenter by trade so I have plenty of tools. I didn't like the sag either. Good looking RV, but I think the damage is a deal killer. You guys told me what I was already thinking. Too bad though....it was less than a half mile from me and just what we were looking for. I'll keep looking. Thanks.... BrentRe: A would you buy, what do you think thread.Good points fishing hat. The ceiling in the cabover was completely removed during the "fix" and replaced. He has owned it for 6 years and never had a problem.Re: A would you buy, what do you think thread.Tires are 2 years old as well. No cracks.A would you buy, what do you think thread.Ok so I wanted to get you guys opinion. I just got home from looking at a 21' Class C. It's a 1996 Dutchman with a chevy front end. Has 73,xxx miles. Here's the deal. It had a leak in the over the cab bunk at one point. It was repaired and no longer leaks, but the front sags slightly on the passenger side where the leak was. The interior is great, starts right up. Has the layout we like. BUT, like I said had a cabover leak at one time.... He was asking $8,000, and I was like "I'm going to tell you what i'm thinking, but this is not an offer. I'm thinking $5,500 tops." He then said he'd take that, rather quickly I might add. So I was really thinking maybe getting it around the $4500 range. I would say the RV overall looked really nice for the most part. I live in Oklahoma and he said they recently got back from South Dakota with it with no issues. What do you think??? Thanks, BrentRe: Cargo carrier for a 26" 3-wheel Schwinn bicycleDoes the rv have a receiver on the back? If so, it can be done easily I would think.'78 E350 chassis, high low beams don't work, lights flickerSo I have a '78 E350 Chassis MH as stated. Here's the deal. The floor, high/low beam switch doesn't do anything. Also, after the headlights have been on for around 30 minutes they start to go on and off randomly. Not cool. My first thought was replace the high/low beam floor switch. Kill two birds with one stone kinda thing. No luck. While I was down there I noticed the wires that go to the floor switch were pretty hot, while the headlights had only been on less than 5 minutes. Heat was what I first thought of when the headlights started going on and off. Any ideas? Thanks, BrentRe: Putting a boat in the waterI should have been more clear. Wanting to upgrade to a 28'-29' RV. The boat is a 17' aluminum bass boat.
