I really think we're going to go with the 18'x36'. Now we just have to decide if we want to spend the extra $$$ to have the metal go to the ground on the sides.Show me your carport!!We are about to pull the plug and purchase a metal carport for our Shamrock 25rs. Just wondering if anyone else stores their tt under one and if so do you have a picture. We are torn between the 18'x31' or the 18'x36'. Our tt is 32' with the rear slide out. We do driveway camp some so I'm leaning towards the 36' so that we can have the slide out and it still be completely covered. I'm wondering if we can get by with 9' legs instead of 10' since it will be plenty wide enough. We could center the tt to wear the a/c wouldn't hit. Any opinions??Re: Second trip in 2016 mhampton wrote: The smile on his face while driving the kart is priceless! How long did it take for that to fade? Thanks, it took a little while. We went and rode the big carts where he rode as a passenger after that and he kept saying the that he didn't like it but was smiling and laughing the entire time. Lol.Second trip in 2016We ventured out of SC this past weekend and went to Anchor Down RV Resort in Dandridge, TN. It is a very nice campground with the best bathhouse that I have ever seen but we probably won't go back. It was a little too high class for our liking. We love going to SC State Parks and being able to back right up to the water and fish whenever we want to. There was no tree cover and I really missed that. I'm not taking anything away from the campground itself. It is top notch just not for us. Here are some picture from our trip. We went into Pigeon Forge one day and rode go-carts with out son :) Bathhouse Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Our 2014 Shamrock 25rs at Dreher Island State Park in the first picture then at Anchor Down RV Resort in Dandridge, TN in the second. Re: Maiden Voyage and New Andersen Hitch = Success!! trail-explorer wrote: picture fail Fixed it :)Maiden Voyage and New Andersen Hitch = Success!!We headed out for our maiden voyage last weekend to Dreher Island State Park and had an amazing trip :) My husband drove and he was very impressed with the new Andersen hitch. I could also tell an improvement in the amount of bounce compared to the traditional WDH. The only issue we ran into was forgetting to reinstall the water heater plug. Oops....Lol. We enjoyed lots of fishing, bike riding, roasting marshmallows and lots of laughs with old friends. We even made a couple of new friends who were the camp host. They even gave our four year old son a small prize for being the safest bike rider :D Here are a few pictures from our trip. Safe travels everyone! Re: Please explain something to me Houston Remodeler wrote: Watch this video Click here I actually came across that video right after I posted my question :) Cleared things up for me. Thanks! Please explain something to meWe recently purchased the Andersen No Sway WDH and I'm just curious as to how it transfers weight to the front axle and doesn't bounce when, for example, going down a hill over a bridge. I understand the concept with a traditional WDH with bars but I'm not getting how this one works. I did my research before purchasing it and read that it works better with lighter trailers and lighter tongue weights. We have a 25' trailer with a lighter tongue weight so I'm hoping it works well. Installing it tomorrow so we shall see.
