Appreciate your help.2004 dynamax corp carri-go 210This topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 286907022004 dynamax corp carri-go 210Wondering if anyone can give me input on this Class B. Are they well made, Ford engine and how are those, gas mileage, etc. Thanks and Merry Christmas!Re: New Roadtrek 'Zion'-----promasterWhat is the quoted price for a Zion? Never saw it anywhere.Re: Portland RV showWe are very interested in the Travato, love the size, gas mileage, and ability to park or go just about anywhere. Looks good for two on shorter stays and weekends. But we feel the same way about the water tank. It is the only flaw in the design and maybe they could move it under the dinette or readjust the dinette. It would create a little more space upfront. Winnebago, are you listening?Re: savings in customizing a Ram ProMaster vs buying a Travatowould anyone know a good van conversion company in the New England area? we live in NH.Re: savings in customizing a Ram ProMaster vs buying a TravatoIt was unfinished, used as a cargo van with some tie down parts built in. It might need some type of flooring-not sure if it would need insulated walls.savings in customizing a Ram ProMaster vs buying a TravatoWas curious what the cost might be to buy a Ram ProMaster van ( the one used to make Travatos) and have it custom finished as an rv, putting in just what you want. Saw one at a Fair today for $32,000 brand new and it got me thinking, if I wanted a simpler rv with a bed, table, portable toilet, etc, would that be cheaper to do then buying one with all the bells and whistles. If we used it more for weekends, etc, I don't see the need for all the kitchen appliances, cupboards, etc. Any ideas?Winnebago TravatoWent to the RV Show in Boston today and was excited to see the Winnebago Travato up close. I've been reading about it for months and to see it finally was worth it. I do not own an rv yet and this looked to me to be just the one for us. It did not disappoint. It was interesting because I think people either loved it for its size and amenities, or hated it for its size. I like that it gets 17mpg, looks easy to drive, is wide enough but the front is as wide as the back, has everything you would need (though no exterior storage) and was comfortable. My only floorplan issue was the seat by the door with the water tank underneath. It just seems they had no where else to put it and this limited space a bit. I wonder if they will tweak this if the model sells well. I do believe this rv is a two person rv, more geared for shorter trips then a two week stay at one site. With that said, it would be comfortable driving on a long haul if you can deal with it not being spacious. The price was $69,995. Wondering what the future will be for them. We will probably have to decide whether to buy a new rv like this or buy a used one (I like Chinooks, Starflytes, etc) and pay for upkeep. An interesting dilemma. Would love to hear what people think of the Travato.Re: Using Your RV more like a tentSome really good points made here, thanks for the feedback! Makes good sense to not buy a fully equipped if and not use everything. I do feel really good the more I read that there is so much support out here for how to learn to use everything. Thanks!
