Brake Buddy Problem with 40 ft motorhome
We have a 40 ft Winnebago Tour and previously towed a CRV and now have switched to a Ford F150. We have a Brake Buddy system that we used with our previous 34 ft motorhome and the CRV. We've had ongoing issues with the Brake Buddy emergency disconnect alarm going off. Someone mentioned that Brake Buddy has problems with motorhome over 40 ft. Does anyone know how you can verify if recalls were taken care of on a previously owned coach? We purchased a 2008 Winnebago Tour and were "told" by Camping World that all the recalls were addressed, but we know for certain that at least one of them was not! Since some of the recalls are quite serious, involving the steering components, we want to verify that the work had been performed. Doing a web search resulted in verification abilities for cars using the VIN number, but not RVs. Any help would be greatly appreciated!988Views0likes6Comments
