We are looking to buy a camper for it and have found an 8 ft, no slides 1998 Rocky Mountain, made in Canada. How can we tell if we can manage this with our truck? Thanks for your help!Re: Who do you have insurance with?We have been very happy with National Interstate - have had one claim and they handled it beautifully. We just got our renewal notice and they are switching from Great American Assurance to Triumphe Casualty. Our rates are going up $350/year and deductibles from $125 to $500 - YIKES! I want a good full-timers policy too and liked CoachNet, what is comparable??Re: New 6v house batteries & main battery losing chargeAren't you supposed to be able to charge them up to 14+ and when it shows around 12.5 you're supposed to charge them.New 6v house batteries & main battery losing chargeReplaced 2-6 volt house batteries because they weren't holding a charge. Immediately afterwards voltage dropped rapidly to about 12.8. Checked water - it's ok. Charged with generator and shore power to 13.6 but they're not holding a charge.Re: Fire Hazard Appliance Recalls UPDATED NORCOLD INFO 11-20-2010 loydt wrote: Dealer has my warranty parts in. Im scared to have it done because Im afraid it will make my fridge stop working!!!!! Ours just came in also & we feel the same way. We full-time & don't want to be stuck out in the middle of nowhere without our fridge. I cannot believe there is not a class-action lawsuit forcing Norcold to replace the cooling units instead of the CYA fix!
