I guess I did have a senior moment because I suddenly remembered how the system worked.. I had a wonderful house on a very tall hill and the city water could not pump to the house pad elevation.. I had to do lots of work on the system and the pump had a pressure switch on a bladder tank.. similar..Re: Lance Squire 3000: Water System Pump Not Activating? My bad... found pump switch! DOH! All is good!Lance Squire 3000: Water System Pump Not Activating?Picked up this 1996 Lance and still checking out the systems. Water tank has been empty but I just filled it yesterday and when I call or water hot or cold, nothing.. just dead! The water heater fires up and looks & sounds great. Turned it off quickly though as it is empty! I checked all the valves in the bathroom under sink crawl space and they are all open. While the heater was operating there was a kind of slight gasp that came out of the faucet but still no pump? This is not a clunker, this camper is clean and nice.. here's a shot of the pump area.. I checked the ARV on the WH and no water in the tank yet.. Small air burp is all I got no water pumping.. Here are some shots showing the WH.. You can see that even the exterior of the WH Bay Door is bright white and new as well as the mech inside.. Pretty sure everything is good.. Just something I am doing wrong.. (or maybe a fuse) Modify message I am bummed.. any help appreciated.. Re: Lance Squire 3000: Dometic Fridge not Lighting in Gas Mode?Notakwanon, thanks for the response.. I removed that silly licence plate and found that there is a sort of wind shield as you must already know and now I can see in there to what does look like a standing pilot assembly.. tried lighting it and no luck.. the entire mechanical for the fridge on my rig looks in bad shape.. lots of rust and in the area of the pilot, the elec connection which is a small gauge wire with a paddle is totally rusted out.. pretty sure I'm going to need a pro on this problem.. I was able to check voltage and that meters fine so yes, most likely gas.. the rig had been standing for who knows how long and being on the exterior, the fridge mech took a beating from weather getting in through the louvers...Re: Lance Squire 3000: Dometic Fridge not Lighting in Gas Mode?I would agree with that. I am not however equipped to do that sort of electrical testing so I would think the best approach to this problem is an RV shop repair person.. I need it done right and that seems the best approach baring anything simple I may be able to handle.. thanks for all the help..Re: Lance Squire 3000: Dometic Fridge not Lighting in Gas Mode?Tiger, my old Squire 4000 used to spark right away and always lit and ran great.. this rig is new to me but should be same as you say.. I checked out the range and oven right before I started the fridge test and all the Wedgewood features are working great.. good flame.. good gas flow.. oven pilot lit and stayed lit and then oven burner kicked in great... On the fridge, I hear no spark at all! I have shore power plugged in now and switched it to elec to see if that works but so far not seeing anything cold.. The fridge is a Dometic Americana Mod Num RM 2553 Product Num 921 14 20 - 03 Input Rate 1080 Found this: http://www.manualslib.com/products/Dometic-Rm2553-And-2821530.htmlLance Squire 3000: Dometic Fridge not Lighting in Gas Mode?Hi Guys, checking out new rig propane. nothing happening when holding in the plunger/igniter..? The mechanical looks pretty rusty and the seller showed me that he had mounted an old license plate to shield from the wind. Is there a pilot in the mechanical area outside that needs to be lit..? This looks like a good place for a pilot??? Oven and Range shots: Looking up under the oven burner.. Re: Winegard Movin View: How to change sat settings under dome?If that is true, where then would one plug one's TV coax into?Re: Winegard Movin View: How to change sat settings under dome?Hey Bill, yes most of what you suggest I am aware of and this is an old string now.. Regarding the coax, I will do as you suggest. I see everything looks clean and solid in the machinery under the dome but no response last attempt. It has been a while since I am working on my solar. I am using the standard DVR and will post pics again. As for the existing coax routing or re-routing, I had another question about the existing interior coax. I have 2 coax sets and not sure why? Here are some shots.. Here you see two coax but looks like the lower one could be for the Video Game setup which I have no knowledge on. (the silver switches are for fans) and here's a better shot looking up at what appears to be the main TV connection area. I wonder what that small black plunger switch if for?
