When we've needed to level, we use the yellow blocks, under both back wheels. I just assumed you needed them under both wheels. Has worked well.Re: toad versus no toadWe have a 24 foot class c and have never towed. We have been able to use shuttles and public transport in many places, or we can drive our RV around short distances from the camp if necessary. We have rented cars several times, like Yellowstone, and it was well worth it and easy. We might be limiting ourselves a bit, but find it easier for the traveling we do, not to have the extra expense, etc. Whichever, have a fun time.Re: Advice for older coupleWe have a 2016 Thor 22E, which is 25 ft., purchased new. It's cozy, but my husband and I have taken several trips up to 2 weeks and done fine. On a couple of short trips we've had the 2 of us, adult daughter, adult son and preschool granddaughter. It was tight, but OK for the few days. We spent a lot of time outside anyway. It doesn't have slides. So depends on how much you'll use it, if the kids are with you all the time, and how big they are.back up camera recommendationsWe have 24ft, Thor 22E. It did not come equipped with a back-up camera, and we would like to have one installed. It would be nice to have side cameras too, but that's not essential. Would like to have your input. ThanksThanks for adviceA couple of months ago I asked for some suggestions and advice as we were heading out in our first longer (2 weeks) trip in our 2 year old class-c. Some great advice and tips and support. We had a great time in our tiny 22E. We went to Bryce Canyon, Zion, Grand Canyon and Lake Mead. Took in our water hose once at Grand Canyon due to low of 27 degrees (I had been worried about the cold nights). What a blast. I used almost all the clothes I brought, and much of the food-resupplied a couple of times. Worked hard on the planning. Thanks for advice and support. Looking forward to the next one.travel in freezing weatherWe are headed to Bryce Canyon, Zion & Grand Canyon in a couple of weeks. I'm a little worried because it looks like the overnight temps are in the high 20's-low 30's. We have a 2016 Thor 22E that we have only taken on short trips in moderate weather. Should we be worried about the fresh water & holding tanks?? Or anything else? I just keep hoping things will warm up so I don't have to worry. Thanks. great forum for questions from a novice.Re: tips/advice??We are leaving from NorCal, near Sacramento. All 3 parks have shuttles, so we can get around pretty easily, and we plan to spend 1 night in the lodge of each park. That guarantees at least 3 good showers and meals out! Some great advice, thanks everyone.tips/advice??We are taking our 2016 Thor 22E on a 2 week trip to Bryce, Zion and Grand Canyons next month. we have used the RV for many short camping trips, but this will be the longest. It will just be my husband and I. We don't tow a car. Any tips, advice, ideas?
