It does show the run status and it will shut it off. The Gen switch on the Hall panel still starts and stops the Generator. Is there a relay somewhere that both switches go through or do I have a bad switch?Re: Opposing Slides Lock Bars06 Monaco Knight, purchased new. Never used the locks in 50K miles so far. I was told when we did the PDI you do not need to install unless you have a mecanism failyre.Re: South Florida Resorts?Sun and Fun, Sarasota. I believe they still have some work Kampers.?Re: Changing Gererator Fuel FilterNot as easy as some think! Not only did I have continuous fuel running down my arm, but the inlet line had to be turned on the filter by rotating the filter - and the length of the line was almost too short to get the threads started. I changed due to age, not hours. The filter is supposed to be good for 500 hrs, assuming clean fuel and I only have 150 hrs after 8 years. I would never change again, unless it clogs and the fuel tank is below 1/4. Biggest PIA I have had working on MH! Our is the 7.5 KW Quiet D like yours.Re: Slide awning--make it last??When you get to Florida, measure yours and order a replacement from Tuff Top Awnings. Not that big a deal to R&R, then you are set for some time to come!Re: 04 pilot toad light wiringWe have towed an 04 MDX (same as Pilot) for 8+ years, 48K miles. Used a US Gear braking system. Just plug in the 6 wire connector which covers the lights and braking system including a charge line. I installed 6 Diodes in the rear light housing as the MDX has separate amber blinkers, but could have used 4 and had the brake lights work as the blinkers. Had a non-smart key made to lock the door, as a smart key must be used in ignition to unlock steering wheel.Re: Do you like your jacknife sofa?We have both a fold out w/air mattress and a jack knife sofa. I can sleep on either one, but prefer the air mattress. Either are equally comfortable to sit on or lay on, although the jack knife is a couple inches shorter.Re: campgrounds with cable boxesStayed at the overpriced campground on the way to Brekenridge, Co. Office gals did not mention that one would need the box and remote at check in. After spending time trying to figure out why I could not get cable, called office for a repair guy; only then was I told to come back to office for equipment! Did not work for me as my connections were buried - what a joke - will never stay there again!Re: water leakHave your Unit pressurized and tested for leaks before fixing interior. (The leaks will show bubbles during the test) Camping World and many other repair facilities have this equipment. Been there and done that!Re: Pearl Harbor DayMy Dad was trained in Boloxi as an Aircraft Mechanic and sent to France. Boxcars were used to transport the troops, and when you had to take a wiz, you opened the door and did so. He slipped on frozen Urine and fell out, breaking his ankle. By the time it healed, the war was over. His brother(my Uncle Vernon)was buried at sea. I was USN during Vietnam Era; AE-5
