Frequently no helmets, babies and or small children riding on front of the atv being held by the left hand, sometimes atv in middle of the road. If you pass them head on and flash a five finger'd hand then another two fingers, here in CA that means 7 more behind me. There, they just wave back and smile. Area is set up for fun touring, not speed. Perfectly fine, as long as you understand it's not the CA dez or Kennedy scene. I never come around a corner cooking it and expect they will be to their right. They will sometimes pull over to the left oblivious to your approach though they should see you, to take photo or some such. Easy on all curves whether you can see around it or not. Scenery is great. Wish I had more shots available online. Haha, yep sounds like you are passing other Californians, that's not how we roll over here.Re: About to purchase first toy hauler, interior height concernsMight be ok with the 1/2 ton in NC, but I am 100% concerned if you come out to the Rockies that it's going to be trouble, for your safety, and ours. I would consider a truck upgrade. I see half tons on the side of Ashton Pass all the time, and on quite a few occasions they have caused others towing up to have accidents, because there is just not enough room. You might be alright in the flatlands though.Re: Post your MPG in Diesels. hl remington wrote: Have a Ford 350 PSD ext.cab lwb stock 94000 mi pulling 288rls Jayco bumper pull with trailer 10.5 ave. at 65mph empty 14 65 mph sure wish I could get the mileage some of you are getting I get about the same in my 99 DRW F350, 7.3, 4.10.....I'm 99% sure most people here are FOS.
