Short Beds w/out Sliding Hitch
Just curious how many people don't have a sliding hitch with their shortbeds? I never used it on my old truck, and I'm trying to decide to buy another (spending more) for my HD that's on order or just get a non slider. Thoughts?

My last 2 hitches have been sliders, and my trucks are short beds. Not once have I ever used the slide. Whats the opinion about it being a nessesitiy? I'm leaning on not buying one.

5th Wheel Hitch Adapter for Puck Systems
Any idea if there is a universal adapter that a B&W hitch would work with for a puck system? I have a 2020 Chevy HD on order and my Patriot is new; I'd hate to have to buy a new hitch.

The trailer is a 2018 Momentum. I guess the first thing to try is taking it back to the dealer I bought it from. It is pretty annoying.
