Know that the hard way! We would leave several 7 gallon water containers full with the lids off and when we would return in the fall they were 3/4 empty. Never really had problems with mice but sand would get in no matter how we sealed everything up.Re: Health insuranceWould assume that one would have worked for Federal Government in order to qualify for this insurance.Re: Health insuranceWe use Medipac which is associated with the Canadian Snowbird Association. I also checked Costco who was cheaper for me but not for DH. Medipac gave us the best deal for the both of us, if you consider >$5,500 a deal. One really has to shop around as rates seem to be going up sharply each year. It sure does not help when both re going into a new age group for next trip. Will have to consider shorter trips in the future. Welcome to the Golden Years! Have had someone else suggest Travel Insurance Specialists which is underwritten by Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services. I have not gotten a quote from them so don't really know if they are cheaper or not.Staying in Canada in WinterIf you had to stay in Canada in the winter where would one find the mildest weather and place where snowbirds go.Re: kidde recallUpdate to my previous post. Spent most of the morning trying to get a hold of Kidde when I finally got through I was given another number to call and was on hold for about 25 minutes before someone finally answered. Was told that my unit replacement was on back order and that they did not have any idea as to when I would receive my replacement. I then explained to the lady that I would be leaving the US in about a month and had no idea as to what would happen to any shipments that would arrive after my departure. I then asked her to change the address so that it would go to my Canadian address but she said that she was not able to do this, that when I got back to Canada I would have to start over again with the reps there. So I guess that I will just wait and see . Not impressed with them at this time.Re: kidde recallI first contacted them in November and they said mine was recalled and gave me a tracking number. I have phoned at least six times and they don't seem able to get me any info as to when I would receive my replacement. Then I got a letter from Keystone and called, went thought all the details again, got another tracing number and once again have not gotten anything. This was about three weeks ago. When I call all I get is wait a few more weeks and then call us again. Getting really fed up with their lack of action! Will be leaving for home in a month so am hoping that I get something soon.Candied Ginger Gone HardHave 2 bags of crystallized ginger that have gone hard. Any suggestions as to what I could do with it. Thought about making jam but not sure how to go about it or if it would work.Anyone Using CBD for Pain Relief and CancerAnyone using CBD for their pet and if so where did you order it from?Re: Lexington 283TS qualityWe have a 2650 2013 and we are very happy with it.
