The same model of Norcold is in our new-to-us motorhome, as is an adjacent pull out pantry. As newbies, we are not ready just yet, but a residential frig is planned. Anything I can learn from others is greatly appreciated. Stormy We are in the same place you are. Just waiting for the Norcold to quit as it is slowly getting less efficient. Will post when we change it out.Re: Another residential refrigerator question Executive wrote: It might help if you posted which Norcold you're trying to replace. The Samsung 197 is almost the same size as the Norcold 1200. It's a little taller but the other dimensions are the same...Dennis Dennis - good questions! The Norcold is a model 8421M. It is 591/2"H X 231/2" W X 23" D. One of the other posters suggested a Haier. I found one that might work so will check it out. We have a 2000W PSW inverter, solar and adequate house batteries so should be good in that area.Another residential refrigerator questionWe have an Itasca Horizon (2002) and are thinking about replacing the Norcold with a residential refrigerator. We have not found a residential refrigerator that is sized for the current opening. Has anyone out there made this swap (a Horizon or Journey 2001 to 2005)? We are trying to avoid cabinet modifications and the loss of the slide out pantry. Any information appreciated.Re: San Diego to las Vegas NevadaX2 on I15. Used them to redo the shower, replace bathroom faucet, re plumbed the water heater, and replaced the toilet. Easy to use and no issues after over 5 years. I too carry spares for emergencies. Easy to remove with the "removal" tool.Re: Xantrex inverter controller; some led's stopped workingTry removing the control panel (4 screws) and in the back is the cable from the inverter. Unplug it and let it reset (30 sec or so) and plug back in and this might fix it. It has worked for me when mine did the same thing.
