Wheel Lugs
New to Class C Traveling/Camping. Purchased a new JAYCO 31F, and Dealer kept emphasizing the importance of using a torque wrench frequently on lug nuts. Have done a lot of traveling over the years in various size 5th wheels. Did monitor lug nuts occasionally, but not to the extreme the dealer was suggesting. Am looking at a 2006 Winnebago 29 foot class C with 2 slides. Unit is equipped with exactly what we have been looking for. It has 53000 miles, and is in really good condition. The unit is consigned to PPL RVs. Price is 35k, but is somewhat negotiable. While we have pulled large 5th wheels for many years, this is our first venture into the motorhome world. Have gotten a real good idea of what to look for in the used unit from previous threads on this subject, but, would like some opinions on the age, mileage, price, as well as PPL RV. I am sure this has been asked before, but locating the specific Post is most difficult, so here goes again: I am looking for a used Class C, and have located several I am interested in. Have purchased several 5th Wheels over the years, and have always been able to work with Dealers to get 25 to 30% off listed MSRP. Does the same hold true for purchasing a Class C. Have recently sold 5th Wheel, and possibly going to a Class C. Any info would be appreciated.;1.2KViews0likes4Comments
