It dissolves the hard water build ups in the toilet seal where it will now hold water. Most of the parks we have been in for 7 months have very hard water that causes this problem. Look in the dishwasher soap section of your store.Re: Slide won't come inI had a similiar problem with a 2004 Mobile Suite. Needed new motor that moved slide and it was a chore to get off and on. You may have newer hydraulic system?Re: Steadyfast adviceThanks guys, I will look it over closer and order one.Steadyfast adviceI am exploring the Steadyfast system. Does anyone have time to tell me results and if they mount up easy on a 39' 2013 Montana 3582 model??Re: First post! Need advice from you good fellas!!!Had a 2003 36'Mobile Suite for 8 years and now 2013 39'Montana 3582. Either brand from 2010 and up will not look like Grandma's house and built well as others in the upper end will be.Matter of floor plan choice.Re: new ram 3500 4x4 tailgate height and fifth wheel clearanceFYI..I have a one year old 3500 Ram 4x4 long bed with the Companion Turnoverball hitch and 2013 40 foot Montana with the moorride hitch, no problems. Runs level and great pull now for 6 months full-timing in AZ,CA, OR., WA. TX. and OKlahoma.Re: newb with a DRW/SRW questionWe are now at 5 months on the road with the Ram 3500 4x4 crew DRW pulling a 39 ft. 2013 Montana. We pulled a heavier Mobile Suite for 8 years small distances with a 2500 short box 2500 Chev. Ext. Cab. Now we know that was dangerous even at 65 miles from home! The difference in your plan with 3500's will mainly be parking those hips in city areas and close lanes when you are un-hooked. We have done Tucson, Dallas, Eugene, Or., Seattle and Portland areas and did OK but some planning is required sometimes. The long box dually means longer walks at the supermarket!! but for the stability and weight of 5er I think we made the best decision.Re: Best 5er for full timer. We are 6 months now in a 39 ft. Montana. been in 20 degrees in Texas, good weather in Tucson, the Oregon coast in the rains and now in Northern Washington. Doing great, easy to cool, heat with the elec. fireplace only and no problems. Did have a Mobile Suite for 8 years before that would do fine as well.Re: 3/4 v 1 ton 4x4 Keystone MontanaWe have a 2013 39' Montana out on the road behind a new 2012 dodge dually diesel for about 3500 miles to date and about 3000 more miles to go in 2014. 5er weight is about 15,000 + as loaded. NO PROBLEMS. Did have a 36' 16K+ Mobile Suite for 8 years behind a 3/4 ton, DANGEROUS! Never went to far from home thank goodness. Duals equal stability in wind and swerves on the big roads, etc. not to mention weight in the bed.Re: HitchI have had three different hitches over the years and my new B&W Companion turn-over ball deal (about $1600 bed wiring and all installed) is the best I have had. Food for thought.
