Similar results.Re: Fresh Water HoseYes, the hose I was looking at was the one in the top picture. I WAS NOT asking about pocket hoses.Re: Think it's worth it?What's the catch?Re: Fresh Water HoseWell, it didn't look stupid to me. That's why I asked! Lol. I mailed away for some X-ray glasses out of the back of a comic book once.Re: New exterior LED night lightsThats a great idea.Re: Fresh Water HoseSee? Glad I asked! And glad I didn't buy one. Now I just need one of you to follow me around Camping World and slap stuff out of my hands!Re: First TC tripThanks everybody. And thanks, Sheep, If I'm lucky enough to be there during a lightening storm, I know exactly what I'm going to do! I'll try to post some pics when I get back.Fresh Water HoseRemember, I'm new to campers! Went to Camping World for the first time last weekend. Holy cow. Lots of stuff that I desperately needed and I didn't even know it! Lol Anyways, in my new found quest to maximize valuable storage space- Has anyone tried one of those collapsable fresh water hoses?? The label said they meet drinking water standards. It would save a ton of space over a standard hose. Tried the search function and didn't see anything in the forums about it.First TC tripOK, it's in the books. Took our first excursion in our new to us 2001 Lance lite 835. It was just three nights, two at a campground with full hook-ups and one dry camping at South Carlsbad State Beach. Our quasi-shakedown cruise. Had a lot of fun and the tips I got from all of you greatly reduced the learning curve. Had to blow the cobwebs out of the thermocoupler to get the fridge to work on propane. Never would have known that, if not for this forum. It worked. We learned that the camper's grey tank capacity is 8 gallons. Take a guess how we found that out. Also, were reminded how important it is to make sure all of the exterior storage compartment doors are securely latched whilst underway. Especially the one holding the lantern. Anyways, no trip-wrecking mishaps. One thing for sure- as valuable as a forum like this is- the best way to figure things out is to just go out and camp. A good sense of humor helps! Because stuff happens. We are off to the north rim of the Grand Canyon in 9 days. I'm sure we'll be schooled some more! But we are quickly starting to love our camper. It's a big step up from sleeping on cots next to a Toyota Tacoma. DW is over the moon with running water! Thanks for all of your help, so far.Re: Grand Mesa CO - Trip ReportWow, that looked like a great trip! Thanks for sharing.
