It is the driver's side in front of the rear wheels. Another 31g owner contacted me with the same issue, however I am not sure if it's the same compartment. I can't find anything obvious to see where it's originating from. There was also moisture at the top of the compartment as if it was raining down condensation. It happened in both hot and cold weather so I suspect the water that's getting in is causing the condensation problem. Has anyone else with a similar Minnie Winnie have and issue like this and were you able to track it down?Re: CB Radio Antenna Install?I mounted my ham antenna to the ladder. Ran coax through the firewall and under the coach. Easy to remove with no permanent holes. Used mount pictured above.Re: RV Covers in snowy areas.Ok, basically I think majority has agreed with my opinion. We've had RVs for over 20 years this is our fourth world. We had our last one for 11 years with no cover and never have an issue with the exception of Stripes fading overtime. I asked this question in two different forums and the general consensus is no cover. I've never really considered one just for the work of getting it on and off. My thought was it would go on one in December and not come off until probably March but my other worry was if I wanted to clear the roof it would make it exceedingly difficult. I also use the generator if we lose power at the house and I could see that being a potential issue as well. If I had a hundred people come on and tell me the virtues of having one I may have looked at it differently. Thanks for the replies.RV Covers in snowy areas.Wondering if anyone has experience with an RV cover that functions well in a snowy climate. Pro's and con's? What brand, model of cover?Re: Has anyone gone from class A to Class C?We just did it. We weren't necessarily looking to and I love the class A we had a 35-foot Damon Daybreak. The reasons for us where cost mostly. As we like the class A's but ended up with the Minnie Winnie 31 foot Class C. So far I like it very much. And even though it's not a lot smaller we have done some day trips that we maybe wouldn't have done with the other unit just because of size and maneuverability. My parents are in the same quandary right now. They have a 35 foot Holiday Rambler Class A and there looking for something smaller either in an A or a C. The hardest part is letting go of some of the things you like which usually is going to be floor space and Storage. However in their case it may be that they use it more and I think that is probably money well spent if you're going to put more miles on and do more things.Re: Waxing cab overTo wash it I just have one of those long handle extendable brushes that you can get in the RV section of Walmart. To wax it I've always done some kind of ladder acrobatics. However, if you're being told you're better off not doing that it's probably wise not to. Not sure what may be in your area however when we were in Myrtle Beach there was a company that came to the campground and washed and waxed the RVs. I think it cost me a little over two hundred bucks for them to wash everything including the roof and wax the entire unit. Really cheap money to prevent a nasty fall.Re: Looking at new Class C but there is a seat issueWe recently purchased a Winnebago Minnie Winnie 31G. They use the Ford factory seats I believe. We also looked at other brands. Many had the exact same seats. We also looked at Jayco, and the ones they had were different. I wonder if they are not the factory seats and mount differently. I would try other jayco's if you haven't and see if it's the same problem. Heck, they may have even mounted the seat or pedestal in that particular unit incorrectly.Re: Itasca Spirit 31' TiresMichelin or Hankook. My new Minnie Winnie 31G came from the factory with Hankook. Put a set on my 2007 Class A after I dumped the Goodyears after 16k and 2 blowouts. Never had an issue after that. Hardly ever even had to adjust the air pressure. Put 30k on those with no visible wear and 7 years.Re: Adding swivel to front seatsI have a 2018 Minnie Winnie 31g. I called Winnebago and ordered the swivel bases from them. Had both installed in less than an hour. About $200.00 each plus delivery.Re: Bunkhouse models? We just got a Winnebago Minnie Winnie 31G. Like the build quality and attention to detail.
