We stayed at Davis Mountain State Park while visiting. Very good choice, one of our top choices. But again long way out there. As already stated, you need BOTH: low humidity and secondarily elevation. I agree! Davis Mountain SP is one of the best in Texas. I do wish it were closer!Re: Keyless Entry for 2017 Minnie WinneIt sounds like your asking about the remote for the Ford doors. You should be able to buy additional remotes and program using you Ford manual. I did that for my F250 a few years ago when I lost my remote and purchased a replacement.Re: New Coachmen LeprechaunI've read on here before, if there's no pictures, then it didn't really happen! Congratulations! I'm jealous!Re: Class C ratings/reivews 31-33' j-d wrote: This is my personal ranking of the ones you listed Entegra Esteem - All the bells and whistles, the Cap, the Roof, the Ride, the Oven, Water Heater, Jayco Greyhawk - A little less flash, but above applies. I would not worry about Thor cheapening the Jayco models, at least for now. Thor owns Airstream now and complaints don't seem to be forthcoming. For both of above I'd consider the dual A/C option. Jamboree - IF we can confirm Fiberglass Roof. I could NOT Forester - Some claim they're cheaply made, yet they have a very loyal and seemingly satisfied following, AZDEL is a Plus Thor Quantum - NOPE, rubber roof Coachmen - NOPE, rubber roof, and I see more complaints about Thor/Coachmen rigs than most others, too bad, AZDEL is a Plus I'm not positive, but doesn't the Entegra Esteem have a window in the cabover on the front? I know these have a 2 year warranty, but does the window on the front concern you? Thanks, Ru Re: DepreciationWhew! Lots of great responses! Thanks Guys! I'll continue my research! Digging digging digging! PS - I was looking at NADA recently and thought the same thing, seems high! Finding out actual sales is probably key!DepreciationI’ve been doing a lot of research on Class C’s and been thinking about how much a unit depreciations over time. Example, If you purchased and brand new Class C in 2016 for $80K: What would it be worth 12 months later in 2017, and how much in 2018? Perhaps this question doesn’t really have an answer, or maybe the answer is in what Make & Model? I’ve been looking at used units that are 1 to 2 years old and sometimes it just doesn’t seem like enough difference between these and a new unit. Looking to see what Y'all think! Thanks in advance! RuRe: Landing Gear won't raise or lower.Your saying you hear the motor running but its not moving? Yes then its the shear pin. But if you don't hear the motor running, there's a fuse near the motor that could be blown. I've have blown it a couple times. Good luck, sorry I can't help you with the shear pin.Re: A/C questionNo X? I hate camping during the summer! With just one AC, I try to do most of my camping during Fall, Winter and Spring! My next RV will have 2!Re: Lights get bright and then dimI had a battery casue me the same issue. But I hope we will hear about the fix soon!Re: Replaced air admittance valve, Still stinks.Dumping your tanks might also solve your problem.
