I’d still wrap electrical tape from old to new since those ends can be pulled off with enough force. Thats a great idea, never thought of that. Hopefully i can get to it soon. ThanksRe: How to replace tv antenna cableI think i'm going to fish it through when i pull the old cable out. If it can be done, we'll find out.How to replace tv antenna cableI have a 2004 Arctic Fox 990, I need to replace the TV cable going from the antenna on the roof to the TV antenna amplifier on the inside of the camper. I haven't attempted it yet, just looking for some suggestions. Thanks for any help. KevinRe: 12v issuefound it, theres a switch that gives power to light, then the switch at the fixture that turns the light on. the wire was off at the first switch. It won't hurt to check the fuse panel for blown fuses, but generally the light by the back door is not on its own fuse, so the likely culprit is a broken wire. The solution is to run a new wire. One thing you absolutely do NOT want to do is just "grab power from anywhere." Certain things are on certain circuits to keep from overloading the wire used. You need to trace the wire back to where it started and connect there. Unfortunately that is easier said than done in a camper, because the wires are generally concealed and you would have to tear the camper apart to access them. If you can get the wiring diagram, that will tell you where the wires start and end. A hack way to deal with running new wires without gutting the camper is to just run wires using the "shortest distance from point A to point B is a straight line" method. But there are also ways to conceal the wires without having to gut the camper too if you're creative and careful. The radio works now because a ran a good known source of 12v power. Weeks later the light stopped working, checked the power before it goes into the light fixture and its not getting power? The wire that was suppose to power it doesn't have power, i replaced it with a known 12v source. I forgot to put that in the post, yes I've checked all the fuses, breakers. Called Northwoods for a schematic of the electrical system, I'll see if my simple mind can figure it out. Kevin12v issueI have a 2004 arctic fox 990 camper, the radio stopped working and figured out it wasn't getting power so i found a 12v source and it works. Now the florescent light by the back door doesn't work, its not getting power to the fixture, i'm not very smart with electrical stuff so any suggestions on where to look or what to do keep in mind i'm not the brightest with this kind of stuff. All other 12v things work fine. KevinRe: water heater troubleGot the check valve (g-784)and its fixed, thanks for your help. The guys at Dinosaur Electronics, Chris and Dave at Northdwoods Mfg. are super people, they don't ask why you called they are there to help. Chris especially was unbelievable, he was on the phone with me for 30 min. tracking down my original issue, no power to the circuit board, and then helping me with why i wasn't getting hot water at the faucet. Talk about patience, the best. Kevin
