Brought my coach in and almost three months later I got it back with one molding broken. two scratches one on either side of the coach about 20 feet long. They also gouged the front mask. The also did not do all the work that was on the work order and their former service manager was a first class ass. Went on my trip brought it back to repair what they did not do the first time, they had some young person use a buffer to buff out the scratches instead he burned through the Gel coat and left huge swirl marks. Made an appointment for January 4th this has been going on since August 2015, this time they did not install the kitchen faucet that had ordered but they ordered the wrong one and they had the correct part number yet they still ordered the wrong one. I had asked them to fill the propane tank which they said they did, the did not fill it, when on the bill it says it was filled.. The best person there is Mike Hulsey and if it was not for him I would have gone nuts, They over book never deliver on time and do not perform the work on the work orders. I now avoid them as there are several other RV shops here in Vegas that I have used and they are 5 star, but for warranty work Winnebago has only 2 other dealers here in Las Vegas that Winnebago has approved to do there warranty work, I am still waiting for the side molding to come in and it is going to take another 2 weeks to paint 2 side moldings. so in a year they have had my coach close to 5 months and it still is not finished. Like I said if it were not for Mike Hulsey the service writer who stuck up for me and told the now former service manager that the coach did not have any of these scratches on them I always take pictures before I drop the coach off, they also did not fix the star cracks on the engine cover, this will be my last trip to Camping World once they finish the moldings. They perform poor work and fail to complete what was on the work order. At least they fired or he quit the service manger Ray.Re: 2016 Subaru Forester flat towYou can wire in a switch some are sold by camping world as I did on our 2014 Honda CR-V it says drive or tow put it in tow mode no fuses to remove, fit right in the dash.Re: Setting up RV to use water pump instead of Park SupplyFirst are you using a water regulator? Do you have an elbow coming out of your water fill inlet, I had an elbow and you cannot use the elbow with a regulator it greatly reduces the pressure, if the PSI is only 40% I would not use any regulator. All the Best TazmanRe: change to brighter head lightsThey were aimed correctly they just were very dull (55 watt high and low beams) I had contacted Winnebago who told me to contact Freightliner which I did they told me the head lights are not very bright and when I asked if there would be any issue if I changed them and rewired them they said heat could be an issue as well as the wiring, when I sent them the spec's they came back with not a problem. I have a 2014 Winnebago Forza 38R. They are legal replacements and they are good for 30,000 hours.Re: change to brighter head lightsI just changed out my head lights to the Cree 40 watt 9600 (H-11) lumens the are plug and play I put them on both high beams and low beams. I also wired my head lights so when the High beams are on the low beams stay on. What a huge difference, you will need a relay and 2 diodes, along with a 30 amp fuse, the draw when all 4 are on is 12 amps which is less then the standard bulbs they were drawing 12 amps with just the low or high beams on. They where wired before so when you turned the high beams on the low beams turned off. Well worth the investment about $130.00 for all 4 lights.EXTENDED WARRANTYI shopped for an extended warranty from Good Sam and about 12 others Good Sam wanted $16,000 for 7 years which was off the charts I settled on Pro-tech which was about $5000 for their top of the line Diamond package. I checked to see who was backing them, they are A rated and it is Dealers Assurance who works with about every Auto dealer in the country. The people are great they pay the repair shop right on the phone nothing out of pocket except your deductible. Most places I called said they accepted Pro-Tech and had no problems with them. They cover everything and more than Good Sam I am a good Sam Member and like them but money is money. I am switching to Good Sam Insurance as they have the best replacement coverage I have ever seen and they are about $150.00 a year cheaper
